I'm about 84k into my 1000hp sti but I feel like a new VA chassis sti to 700-900 is like 65 70k if you jump right to doing that build. Problem is we take small jumps along the way thinking "300 is enough" "400 will be plenty" "600 is probably ideal"
The exact boat im in right now haha. I have a 2013 WRX hatch thats my daily and my 2021 STi that im currently building. I started my first "build" with about 350whp and was like "yeah this is fun and good". Now my STI is sitting low 500whp but on stock motor. I started to add up how much ive spent so far and i almost got sick haha. especially now im sitting here like "hmm 650-700whp is starting to sound fun"
@@josiahayala3501 I'd recommend over building the engine because we cant say how stupid we will be in a couple years time🤣 my tune starts tomorrow and I'm hoping the built for 800 block can take all the 6466 dishes out🤞
@@admireinspire same here. Don’t recommend building a VA if you want to go fast. They’re big and heavy. Mine is north of 750+ and still feels v scary every time I get on it.

A lot of people don’t understand a respectable boost level and a well maintained subi can last a very long time I know it first hand with my 08 wrx pushing 22 psi with over 30k miles on the build

Guys. Save yourselves lots of money and get into kart racing. Real karts like a KA100 or ROK 30 on a eal outdoor race track. You will save soooo much money and the racing is really exciting. Its super aggressive and visceral.
Paid 28,000 cash for my 600+ HP 2015 STi white pearl. IAG closed deck stage 3, built heads, AMS intake manifold, FP Black ball bearing turbo, dual fuel pumps with Hobbs switch, ETS front mount, all Titanium intercooler piping, external wastegate, cylinder 4 cooling mod, flex fuel. Makes 600 on E70 with injector duty at only 90% which means it can be turned up more but don't want to push the car that hard with the stock location 600 is plenty but I do want to get a rotated kit and re-do my whole set up. I paid $28,000 for the whole car with everything done receipts, pictures of the build, videos on dyno and street pulls, etc drove 6 hours each way to get the car he wanted $37,000 I talked to him for three months straight and eventually got him down to $28,000 he wasn't too happy with the deal but I sure was. I've already pulled the motor and tranny had to swap out bell housings, slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, throw out bearing, swap front diff into new bell housing, big job for someone who has never pulled a motor or worked on cars I don't even own tools. Two buddies of mine helped me out a lot of hours into it but motor and trans are back in now and we're buttoning things up, bleeding coolant, some adjustments here and there and I should be back on the road this week. It's all part of the game. Def save your money up if you plan to daily a built motor car or race car, obviously this guy's car is next level but ya. His car is easily $100,000+
