All you know about redstone is lever powers redstone and button powers redstone for 1 second and pressure plate powers redstone as long as you standing on it?
Why did you use so many redstone torches? You should use repeaters that go into the block with the redstone torch on top. Than you only needed 4 redstone torches and 2 repeaters in total
You had a simpler way to do it. When coming to the underground part, you used a bunch of unnecessary redstone torches when instead, you could have used 2 repeaters that ran one block below the redstone torch to deactivate it. Edit : One way to fix not being able to get out problem is simply by digging a little further to get to the other side and wire it up to some pressure plates.
Ok all good until you relise that you cant get out. Just get lucky that a friend joins or an animal steps on it. Also when you are running from mobs, those mobs can also step on your pressure plate
this is actually a level 2 piston door because instead of using a 2 by 2 piston door you used a 2 by 3 piston door which makes it level 2. and if you understand how Redstone works then this should be a very easy build even if you don't use a tutorial

FOR ANYONE WHO DOESNT KNOW HOW TO LINK THE SIDES ! if you noticed he forgot to do the other side, to fix this copy what you did with the redstone on the other side, then build a 2 block deep hole through the middle, then link it together with redstone, patch up the hole and add pressure plates & enjoy! !
If anyones wondering how to make the door work from the other side just copy the same thing from the first side but then connect the redstone under the pressure plates from both sides with redstone
I absolutely love this, but I’ve got one question if you’re using it for a building like I am if you go inside the building and then it closes. How do you open it from inside the building

You dig under the first sticky pistons and the you connect the red stone on either side but build the red stone 2 blocks from the redstone torch
