Sorry, but Ellie is one person. I would've woken Chef as well.
To clarify: Yes Gael was up, but not her duty either. Chef dropped the ball by not prepping ANYthing, even though it was requested and he said he'd do it! And Ellie not being singled-out in the tip meeting was unnecessary.
There were two people 😅 Ellie could've done the drinks, whilist the other started the snacks, once Ellie finished making the drinks, she could've took over the snack making and let the other person go up to look after the guests. The chef worked the whole day without a break, as he was alone in a team, where as Ellie had a break and other people in her team help around. And who the F can't make simple snack?! You don't need to be a chef.
Chef is such a diva!
And Ellie is such a kid - doesn't even know how to make snacks.
@@someonewithanamepink9918seven grilled cheeses, nachos with fresh guacamole and salsa with Mac and cheese from scratch are not snacks.
Duties are duties. Late night snacks were mentioned on the sheet. 6 figure charter exceed expectations and provide service
Snack are duties of both Stews and Chef.
You should not require a trained chef to make snacks for drunk people
As someone who’s father is a chef, my dad would of prepared something in advance or double checked before ending the shift. How many times has Sandy said in the past, check the preference sheet. Yet Sandy is saying don’t wake the chef? So Sandy you’re not worried about the tip? Food is such priority on yachts.
Imagine needs to wake up a fully trained chef in order to make simple snacks for people.
Chef then apologised and said he would make sure there was food in the future and she still went and cried about it. Maybe if she had the most basic hospitality skills she wouldn’t have cracked so easily under such little pressure
They’re not simple snacks and it’s not her job anyway.
They were full on menu items not snacks.
Prepare all those snack food and drinks on top of your hospitality duties. Mind you it’s late night and short on staff. Don’t forget to give these people paying 6 figures for meticulous service. Have you even worked on high class hospitality before.
There were two people who were up - one can do drinks and one can do food. Why is she so dramatic? A late snack like nachos and other munchies isn't that difficult. The chef is stand alone person he needs the rest, unlike her who get regular breaks and sleep as she has other team mates. Captain Sandy did her job and Ellie grow up - stop throwing temper tantrums.
It's not the Deck team's job to prepare any items for the guests. Gael had her own deck jobs to do aswell as keeping an eye on the readings for the boat. Chef should have woken up or prepared food in advance, having already been aware that they requested late night snacks.
Late night snacks are on preference, not following what’s on the preference will effect the tip
i understand it’s very overwhelming on your own and she did say she’d been up for 25 hours so of course she’s going to ask for help- we all get tired and when we’re tired things get more difficult
There should of been snack anyways so I blame the chef he should of had things prepared
I like Ellie and I like Chef. They should have set up a rule before the charter started. Chef should have had food available. This whole charter was a mess!
Ellie needs to grow up. This is your job. You need to improvise things are not going to be easy all the time
This isn’t her job. And you clearly know nothing about this industry if you think it is.
Actually it’s not part of her job. Food demands were on the preference sheet that the chef failed to PREP for. If he did, maybe the stews wouldn’t need to wake him up and do his job. Was Ellie serving the guests? YES. Was there anything for Ellie to heat up and serve? NO. Is it part of her job description to make food? NO
I feel sorry for Ellie
Who wouldn't feel sorry for a kid who is throwing a temper tantrum because they can't handle the heat.
