Was that screenings instead of sand for the paver base?
Nope. We always use a gravel base then concrete sand for our bedding sand.
@@shovelandthumb6420 it looked gray, but it was overcast. I will use screenings for my base in both walls and pavers and it seems to work well. I'm just a DIYer so I don't have enough projects to say for sure how well that method stands up
