  • The infinityPV foil made and sold by infinityPV.com is an infinitely printed flexible organic solar cell module, which can be cut and electrically contacted every ~10 cm to customize the output voltage. Only a hammer and snap buttons are required. This video shows how to do it at home. The printed solar cells are available at infinityPV.com and can be used to integrate in your DIY electronic projects and for prototyping solar powered applications.

    I'm sorry, but how far apart is each contact point for the electrical contacting? You seemed to cut it at a convenient point. Are the contact points preinstalled, if they are, how far apart are they? If they are not, how do you install the contact point? Thanks.

    Is there any alternative possibility to connect except these snap buttons? This is not suitable for all solutions.

    a good idea for ocean surronded danes: graphene coated magnets convert the ion motion in moving seawater directly to electric power

    and in direct sunlight or high temperatures the tape will come off?

      efficiency depends on the material. The cell shown is the video (red color) is low performance. our much better ones are green/blue. just check out www.infinitypv.com we also offer suitable electronics.

      depends on the use case. we cannot beat Silicon PV prices (nobody can!), but these organic solar cells can be colored, semi-transparent and ultra flexible.

    Cool but it's less than 2% efficient, I'd like to see the improvement though, and a cost vs benefit analysis.

      I have a method you may be interested in. a battery and solar cell in one unit. the cells are submerged in water and shielded by conductive plastic.
