Looks good but already tried it, it produces no power at all. Hell I tried the experiment with Soil, Copper wire and Zinc screws using an ice cube tray and got 6 volts. That was impressive. One thing I find unbelievable is that you are saying that was 220V and managed to power the lights; with no protection or any way to regulate the volts or amps those lights would have exploded the instant you touched the bulb with both wires. Sorry to debunk the video but if you were in fact playing with 220V of un protected wires, then the instant you touched the wires together it would have sent a shockwave through the copper wire cracking if not destroying the CD's within. Not to mention burn your fingers in the process as at one point you fought to pull the wires apart. Those wires would have been close to melting point. Also if you can build your own solar panels and get 220V from one panel, why do you have actual solar panels on your roof.
The solar panels on the roof have already been installed and they also still give off free electricity. I wouldn't take them off if it were me. Maybe he just recently discovered these DVD disc collectors. We don't know that.
It depends on how close to the overhead power lines magnetic flux you are. You don't even need the cds just cardboard tubes with coils of wire. Done in rural areas where I come from but the heavy fines levied from theft outweigh the benefits from free power.
Also be very careful which CDs you choose. Each CD must have at least one song title on them containing the word sun or solar for this to work properly.

The last time I used old CDs it was to scare away flies, wasps, etc.etc... and it gave me the same result that would happen to whoever wastes time doing this stupidity.
You could try use silver wire instead of copper for 1 of the discs, to see how much more electricity it conducts. Silver should be the best conductor. I guess it’s not expensive for a little experiment
this is going to make an amazing solar project. but i have a two questions; 1. will the final product break if it falls? 2. can melted plastic be used in place of the epoxy resin?
This does work. The hard part is mounting about 22-30 of them to you roof. Then buying inverters so you house can use the the energy, mounting system, and a inverter. Then you need permission to operate

Yah, this is so stunning, but I wonder if this method can be used to charge a solar or car battery, please help me here, is it possible, I want to invent one in my house, thanks 🙏
If you have 40 years of solar experience then you would know this is absolutely fake. Even if the CD were somehow able to generate a voltage, the bare copper wire is touching itself as it's wound, which would create a short.
You can actually make a really efficient Peltier stack like this too. You need a whole silo of CDs. Don't worry about taking them out of it, just wrap some aluminium foil around each end of the silo. Now THIS is impressive! The first video some guy had me using tin foil and said I needed the pruple silicone style disk... it did not produce what i wanted it to, Now I can make a much bigger homemade solar panel and do it like you!
There's something wrong. It shows initially about 7 volts. With 24 CDs I suppose to have a current of 168 DC volts. In any case have 220V of DC current is not so useful
Imagine all the houses did this with their entire roofs and all connected the wires for even more power as a means of free electricity off the grid in America with your neighbors.
DO NOT BE FOOLED. THIS IS FAKE. The wires make no actual contact with the disks metal, it only touches it's outer layer. also there is no way you would get that much energy
Good job! I suggest you to assemble those Discs in parallel/serial connections in order to obtain 12 or 24 Volts, with more current (same power), then you supply a battery bank (charger), which provides 120 VAC using an Inverter.
I found that if you use Dolly Parton CD's, you get 20% more power!! And if you cover each disc with a condom, another 5%... amazing!! RUclips used to be such a huge source of knowledge... now it's just a huge source of humour! 🤣
You can double the output if you place each CD in a Microwave for about 30 Sec. before you wrap the wire around them. The Microwave will supper charge the CDs.
For me, considering the likelihood that the final setup could be fake, my main wonder is about how he generated 7V from that first singular CD coil. Did he also fake that part?
@@gernotfrohlich6978 I'm referring to the very first test he did with the single CD that he then connected to a motor that spun its fan. I will try and do it this week. Hopefully I can get a 0.65mm copper coil
I think you made a good-looking (decorative), partially anti-solar panel, (you can make it totally, with more CDs, to cover the whole surface, so it creates a full shadow). The copper filament could make a solenoid, only to generate electric current, it would need a powerful magnet, or continuous movement in a magnetic field 🤔😏😔🫢🤭

That's because moonlight is just reflected earthlight coming originally from sunlight. Lessened power output when no moon and cloud cover from starlight. Problem can be resolved by using storage batteries to power lightbulbs which then shine on the cds or l/Ps but the you have to use incandescent bulbs since LEDs don't give off heat, which is necessary for L/Ps to work.

@@Ramen959 the copper wire i got was too thick I believe, or maybe because the cd disk has cracks in it but the copper holds it together

MAN...ITS A CON...
There's something wrong. It shows initially about 7 volts. With 24 CDs I suppose to have a current of 168 DC volts. In any case have 220V of DC current is not so useful
Zudem hättest du bei 6000 watt bei einem kurzschluss (denn es bei solar nicht gibt) eine Drahtexplosion die dir deine Panel grillen würde
220 V and he is easily handling it without shoes and naked hands .... Master rayden....
I am also confused. Ac or DC
Dc
Imagine all the houses did this with their entire roofs and all connected the wires for even more power as a means of free electricity off the grid in America with your neighbors.
Please, what's that liquid you pour on the panel, and also, how many times do i have to coil the copper wire on the disk?
And can i use any disk??
DO NOT BE FOOLED. THIS IS FAKE. The wires make no actual contact with the disks metal, it only touches it's outer layer. also there is no way you would get that much energy
Good job! I suggest you to assemble those Discs in parallel/serial connections in order to obtain 12 or 24 Volts, with more current (same power), then you supply a battery bank (charger), which provides 120 VAC using an Inverter.

These 24 pieces of CD will power the entire planet in his next video.
Incorrect. He will need at least One Extra CD for that...
😂😂😂👍

Congratulations, you just built the antenna! 😄
От Российских фанатов пламенный привет! Будь мужиком !
I found that if you use Dolly Parton CD's, you get 20% more power!! And if you cover each disc with a condom, another 5%... amazing!! RUclips used to be such a huge source of knowledge... now it's just a huge source of humour! 🤣
Hello what kind of wire has to use insulate coating or without coating
You made a solar panel to power bulbs that will only work when the sun is up. I assume you will make a battery storage so you can have light at night.
You will get higher voltage if the songs in the CDs are highly ENERGETIC....🤣
Are the CD's absolutely necessary? Could small plastic disc work just as well? What turns the sunlight into electrical energy?
😆😂sao hấp thụ ánh sáng chuyển hóa thành điện năng
CDs less likely to crack when you drill them when you heat them slightly. Not too much or they melt. You have to find the sweet spot
It doesn't matter if the disk is cracked or not, it's still useless
I used those greatest hits CD music which doubles the output voltage up to 480Vac at 208 Amp.... 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Specially The Beatles Greatest Hiis..they last for 15 years before degrading their performance!!!
I bought several Pink Floyd CDs "Dark side of the moon", unfortunately, my solar panel became a moonlight panel ... Mouaaaahahahaha !!!
You can double the output if you place each CD in a Microwave for about 30 Sec. before you wrap the wire around them. The Microwave will supper charge the CDs.

For the price of epoxy used you could have bought a working solar panel
Even on Rainy day and in the night i am getting 220V AC. I directly connected my AC to the CD Solar Panel and now i saving ton of money on bills.
На медном проводе изоляцию не очистилы. Ток как пройдёт. Очищат паят надо конции проводов.
For me, considering the likelihood that the final setup could be fake, my main wonder is about how he generated 7V from that first singular CD coil. Did he also fake that part?
might be a magnetic field below the stoneplates?... but Im curious to reproduce such array...
@@gernotfrohlich6978 I'm referring to the very first test he did with the single CD that he then connected to a motor that spun its fan. I will try and do it this week. Hopefully I can get a 0.65mm copper coil
DIY solar panel to power light bulbs in day time. No one asking the obvious question what happen at night? I don't see any battery storage.
Your missing a trick here Mr Homemade ..... if you actually seek out AC/DC's greatest hits and the old Electro cd's you could of doubled your output
I think you made a good-looking (decorative), partially anti-solar panel, (you can make it totally, with more CDs, to cover the whole surface, so it creates a full shadow). Hope it won't melt in the sun, and the silvery surface reflects the heat and light. The copper filament could make a solenoid, only to generate electric current, it would need a powerful magnet, or continuous movement in a magnetic field 🤔😏😔🫢🤭
You just proved you are a total ignorant. These stuff CANNOT WORK man. You act like you know things. Go to school
so it is a decoration but no electricity can be generated from this?
@@lenny108 that would an ugly looking decoration. Yes, you cannot generate electricity from that. RUclips pays $5000 per 1 million views, so people make nonsense videos about anything. It doesn't hurt to try one cd , but you already wasted your time watching it.

How to make like yours and how much voltage⚡️ is it?
That's because moonlight is just reflected earthlight coming originally from sunlight.
Lessened power output when no moon and cloud cover from starlight.
Problem can be resolved by using storage batteries to power lightbulbs which then shine on the cds or l/Ps but the you have to use incandescent bulbs since LEDs don't give off heat, which is necessary for L/Ps to work.
