      This was my first Bass. Served me well for 6 years until I saved up enough to buy myself my dream bass. I still REALLY enjoy playing this bass. The short scale is a really nice change and I sometimes take it to my gigs just to switch it up. Great tone with my sansamp Tech 21 DI and Fender Rumble 500. I play many instruments but for me theres just something different about playing bass. Its almost like magic happening in my hands. I love the low frequency punch. The glue of holding down the band with the drummer. Its just an amazing instrument to me. Before I got one I looked at bass as 'guitar but easier' damn was I wrong lol. 'Guitar but better' is more like it!

    Ah, the myth that beginners start with a short scale. I started off playing a 36" scale 5-string, and I play - among my basses - a Bronco. They're the best deal in basses and surprisingly good quality for the price but it has no fingerboard, which doesn't bother me at all. The "fingerboard" is the neck.

      People find them less intimidating in general, especially if they're of a smaller stature. Start with what works for you, there's no right answer for everyone!

      The joke is this: I'm acting like this is a lost episode of the show and I missed it somehow. I showed this to my daughter and she said, he does look like Rider Strong. Back in the 90s, I let her watch it every week. I used to tell my two sons: "It's girl time! Sara gets to watch some of her girl shows now. If you don't like them, go play in the bedroom".

    Liked it, but this is the second video where yall go on and on about how it's a good starter bass. Shit nikkuh I got mine for 20 bucks. Got it tested at the local music store a few months back and it works great :D Just bought a Orange Crush 50 watt bass combo amp yesterday, and for all intents and purposes I intend to master and keep the bass I have. Why go unnecessarily long neck? Mine is black, and it's a keeper bass. Maybe someday I'll change my mind. Anyhoot :D

    i have has this bass for close to 5 months now, and after taking great care of it and only transporting it inside of a case there is already a very large crack on the back of the fretboard, which for me has made playing uncomfortable sometimes. i understand i bought a very cheap bass so im getting what i paid for really. another thing is this bass seems to be completely incapable of playing slap

    • @tomf3594
      @tomf3594 2 года назад

      Seems odd, unless there is a fault with it or somehow it's been bashed without you realising it, I don't know how the crack would happen. Definitely a possible QC issue, bit have you had it properly set up? By either yourself or a tech?
