It goes beyond being a "cult movie", to many people it is a sort of sacred movie.
Absolutely.
Well said
Phenomenal movie and a phenomenal soundtrack.
Im watching it now on bluray for the 30th time, 40 years on and this movie is an absolute treasure ❤❤❤
Brilliant film! Thank you Bill, and thank you Mark for music!
I could watch hours of this. I am so fascinated by this movie, I'm glad it still has an active following.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have visited all the sets of this film but never have seen this doc. Wonderful.
Fantastic... thanks for sharing it!
A Great Movie
My favorite movie.
Thanks for uploading these, great documentary.
Now that the movie will FINALLY be released on blu-ray this September we can see this and a lot more in high def!
" I like this place...the air is good"
How sad that they took away the telephone box. That was iconic
Come to think of it, it ends as abruptly as it begins!
I’m good friends with one of Fulton Mackay’s nephews. He has such fond memories of his uncle. It was Fulton’s character as The Captain in Fraggle Rock and Mackay from Porridge that I remember him for.
Having stayed in Pennan for the second time on Sunday evening it’s lovely to watch this again!
Anyone who loves this brilliant film just has to visit Pennan at least once, as I was fortunate enough to do a few years ago.
Fascinating.
Is it me or is the sound very low, I can only just hear it, despite cranking everything up.
Great...thanks again. The ending seems a bit rushed and unexpected; is something missing I wonder?
Funny Mark banged the door of the yellow Ford Escort and walked away without locking it!
Was the whole town just a Hollywood set, or where the homes there?
It’s an actual town.Pennan, Scotland. And it looks exactly the same today as it did 41 years ago when they filmed it!
@@billy1673 That is great!
@@countalucard4226 there’s several videos people have posted on RUclips of their recent visits there.Still such a beautiful place.
It takes a whole day to film about 2 minutes of a movie. So I’ve read.
Brigadoon meets Apocalypse Now. :)
!
Camusdarach, not camusdarroch... =)
A pretty whimsical and pointless and boring unnecessary movie. A very interesting documentary all the same.
