I've been really busy these past couple of weeks, but I've been working on the level whenever I have time, so bear with me if you would. I'm hoping to have 98% of the level completely done by the 5th preview, but it might still be a while. Anyway, the level is now officially named "Shockwave" after some debating on twitter.
As always, leave feedback if you would, it makes the level better for everyone in the long run, thanks!

I really love the last cube and the way all the sonic waves flash at the last few clicks. Really hope to see this finished and rated.
i like how this isn't just a really good looking remake, but it even makes points to the fact that sonic wave was a legendary level + it showed some people who beat sonic wave
Im getting back into GD and getting into the community I never was apart of for the previous years of this game, but I remember GD was a huge part of my mobile gaming life. SW is probably my favorite level (despite the history). This is the first time I’ve been hyped for something like this. Keep it up, super excited to see the OGs and others attempt this.
Finally GD became fantastic graphic tool... I hope this project will go well

Just so you know, if you're noticing the cuts aren't syncing between the editor and normal mode, try using the song trigger's "prep" feature to make it a lot more consistent.
Otherwise wow, I thought this would be boring (because it's like the 5th sonic wave remake lel) but I actually like it quite a lot.
Yeah all of them use prep triggers. Just broken rn because they were put in when I had active start positions and that messed them up

@@Cognition57bc they see a foaw that can be made better with feedback, if a creator posts a preview and isnt ope to public feedback the level can end up being bad (gameplay or decoration wise).
The level is very cool. There are a lot of beautiful and inspiring moments. And yes, in other levels the music itself makes the level cool, but in this level absolutely everything is cool. There aren't even any things to complain about here. I wish you good luck in finishing this level and creating new levels.

@@DaYaArtemych how interesting it is to watch people who can be served the same crap in a different cover a million times, and they will be happy about it. This level is shit because even the theme is expressed incorrectly. The deco is worse than Sonic Wave by Funnygame from 2.0.

the transitions are crazy good and im sure alot of the deco will get reworked so this might be a cool level whjen done
Turning out really good so far but there are way too many different styles in this level. I think keeping the style at 1:51 throughout the whole level (except for the transition art and everything) would make it so much better
I also think the same, tbh the frequent changes of desing don't mix well when using the pixel art blocks

Personally the level deco and gameplay looks more fun but my only issue is the blocky design for the wave. As much as love the though of a new addition but taken a different swing on how sonic wave is supposed to look but 77-86 is really nice, my only issues are some of the camera movements, zooms, etc and I feel like 62-72 is just tax evasion. I cant tell if this is supposed to just be a mix of certain levels combined into sonic wave but some of these dont entirely fit and just look wrong again, the blocky design. Either way, still really good cant wait to see how this turns out.

the music blending/transitions at 0:11 and 0:29 i feel like could be polished more, I just don't know how that could be done

This level has insane visual effects! I also love the transitions and styles of each part, the level kept on getting better closer to the end, and the ending had multiple references to the game's history! Amazing level, I hope it gets rated!
