I noticed a nice patch of purslane next to the tangerines…In Haiti we consume them as regular greens or tea ( it will make you sleep like a baby). Nice video as usual😍😍😍
I agree with you me and my family are eating more beans, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, and less meat and more from our garden because we can’t trust to meat nowadays. Is it lab meat you don’t know beans rice soup vegetables curry’s so good don’t get me wrong I love meat I just want to know where it comes from I don’t want to eat it
Guy's you've transform this place into a beauty spot that we have now growned to love and adore. Thanks again Guy's for keeping us excited about gardening.
Just got back light yesterday.. One month after Beryl knocked us out.. I'm watching your videos and find them delightful.. Thanks for the motivation.. I'm going to try growing my food once more.. ❤❤
For the strawberries, get some flat pebbles and paint them red and put a couple in each pot. When the strawberries come the birds won’t trouble them because by then they would have already tried pecking at the rocks and will be turned off them!
Greetings, I just starting watching your channel 1 week now, I find you so inspirational, just an idea for you, how about planting oil nut seeds which is know to make castor oil, you can make something from it, it is very in demand right now, my self is indeed of plenty, I live in 🇬🇧 UK, but born in Jamaica 🇯🇲 blessings, stay bless, bless family ❤❤
I'm a bit of jealous at this moment because i am unable to do any work in my garden. Living vicariously through @farmingontherocks,@gardeningwithstacey,@blessingsfromthegarden and all those who are actively growing in this season.
Marie, Hubbie, and family. i enjoyed the quick tour. Is the banana tree in a container? Has it produced any fruit yet? It would be great if it does. I miss what we call fingerrose bananas. Also marie, you mentioned coconut drops, nice and soft. I use to make that growing up there but I have forgotten the recipe. What is your recipe? Also, consider doing a cookbook. Many of us who have left home and who have aged have forgotten how to make our beloved caribbean dishes.-just a thought.
@@FarmingOnTheRocks Good morning, thank you for responding. I learned something new about growing a banana plant in a container. For the coconut drops, one coconut gives me about 2 cups of grated coconut. I add about one half cup or less of sugar. How many eggs do you add to the mixture to make your coconut drops? Do you add anything else?. I know this is a gardening show not a cooking class. i am excited to hear your response.
@@janwilliams6533 we never put eggs in Jamaican coconut drops, and we don't grate the coconut. Coconut, sugar and ginger. I might have to make it on Steve and Marie's channel one day
I really enjoyed this tour. How do you get rid of amphids,(insects). They are all over my gungo plant, and they threatening my other vegetables. Please and thanks

Sweet peppers are so expensive this week in August, $1000- 1200/lb in the market on the north coast. Keep on doing what you're doing❤

Yes the banana plant is in a container, it's a very young plant so it has not produced yet, once a banana plant produces it dies.
