  • In this video, young mechanic Aiman will show and guide you through the steps necessary in order to remove, replace and install headlight / turn signal and/or wiper switch control lever on the steering wheel column of a 2004 Honda Accord, which is the same process for all Accord DX LX EX model from year 2003-2007.
The removal and installation process should be the same or very similar to most if not all Hondas such as Civic, CRV, Pilot, Element and Odyssey.
This repair process is actually quite easy and most people should be able to do it themselves since it doesn't require complex tools, only screwdrivers are needed. It will save you a lot of money by DIY doing it yourself.
Since we're taking apart our 2004 Honda Accord, Aiman will be doing more how-to and tutorial videos on removal, replacement and installations of various parts and component of this type of vehicle so please check back for more video. Thanks for watching...
This video is presented to you by young mechanic Aiman-Imran Zulhilmi Anuar. Please be sure to watch other DIY auto repair videos on Aiman's EyeOnAiman youtube channel & facebook page.

A six hour job, and Aiman just removed and replaced both, while explaining, in just ten minutes! :-)
To me, it looks like you could avoid removing the lower valence and the bottom of the cover. If you just drop the lower cover a few inches, it looks like there's enough clearance to remove the control levers....?
I guess I'll be finding out, since my wiper control arm has a broken retaining spring in it.

That's cool. I just busted my top bezel cover because you didn't show that there is four tabs holding it in. I have a very nice car.

After doing work on my '65 Chevy Corvair I like to compare it to my modern Honda. Right front turn signal wasn't working. Able to take apart the mechanism and clean and bend slightly a brass contact. The entire unit is still available for about $80. Included the canceling part too. Good video.

I'm looking to replace my turn signal switch, honestly it looks like you barely have to take anything apart, def the top part of the steering wheel assemly, maybe just pull the bottom part down a bit just to get the switch out? Thanks alot for the video, your making me confident.
