  • In this video, we share the mechanics that are responsible for causing cellulite, and why cellulite is more common in women. We also teach you how to stand in correct alignment to prevent developing these grips that cause the dimpling, and a simple exercise you can do to change the appearance in the tissue. Cellulite is an indicator of adhesions that are blocking blood and oxygen flow that result in pain and aging in general, so making these simple changes can improve your health longterm.

    This video made so much sense to me. I feel like my hips are out of alignment, and i stand with a tilt. You can actually see the difference in the shape of my legs and the cellulite in each leg because of this. I will definitely try this and am going to watch more of your videos, thanks so much!

    If poor posture is what causes cellulute then why don't men have it?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  3 года назад +9

      Deanna explains this in the video here 1:24. Men tend to have cellulite in other areas of the body such as the belly and low back.

      Another 2 reasons (among many) for "lack" of cellulite in man.
      1st Scientifically proven (laugh or not, as you will) man has thicker skin. I know, women always kind of knew that but it it true.
      2nd Female skin cells arrange themselves as the bricks in a brick wall. Male skin cells have the pattern of the roof tiles; overlapping each other. So when the muscle contracts and the skin fallows, the cell slide over one another and do not wrinkle like in the female body.
      It is not that man don't have cellulite. It is just that it takes more of it to become visible

    After this position should we move this to other spots on the thighs where cellulite is, like on the upper thighs and back of thighs?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  Год назад +7

      Absolutely, Jane! You can work all around the thigh area as well as on the upper and back. The more you work around those areas, the more shift you'll feel and changes you will begin to see!

      Is it normal to feel nauseous when doing these positions, perhaps because it promotes sufficient detox?

    Just before I found your videos, I ordered 2 yoga blocks, called "Clever Yoga Blocks." The description says, "high density EVA foam, have a closed cell structure." Do you think these will do for awhile?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  5 месяцев назад +1

      You can definitely give them a go and see how they feel with your body! However, only go as far as your body allows. If anything feels uncomfortable refrain from using it. Our blocks are made to fit the curvature of your body and share a similar density to bone. Just a little info on our tool incase you're ever considering investing in the Starter Package :) I hope this helps!

    How often do you recommend doing this excercise?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  3 года назад +5

      We want to practice proper rooting and posture daily. For the Block Therapy position, you can do this multiple times per day. You are in control of how frequently you will do this position - if it's too much to do it daily, respect your limits and you can perform when feels necessary. For quicker results, you can perform this daily.

      Yes they do. Both are complementary to Block Therapy, and vice versa!

    My knees pull to the outside of my legs. The doctors told me the cause was due to my q angle being really wide. I was told I needed a knee replacement in my early 30s and I have yet to do it because I feel I can heal myself. The rooting method requires knees over big toes point straight forward. Every practitioner I have worked with has told me to point my toes out externally to adjust for the strain on my kneecaps. Given your knowledge and experience, have worked with people like me? Should I point my toes straight or out? do you think the fascia work can help? I know when I foam roll my exterior thigh, it helps with the kneecaps. It just doesn't last and is incredibly painful.

    This will get rid of cellulite on front of thighs?? How long before noticing a difference ?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  Месяц назад

      Yes it does. The time it takes is different for everyone since we all start at a different place. It's not a sprint, rather it is a marathon. We can't rush things as we didn't get to where we are today in our fascia over night. For some people it takes weeks, and others it takes months.

    This position laying flat is to high for the rest of my body!
    Up on the elbow feels more balanced to me?!

      Definitely start up on the elbows if laying flat is too intense at first! Do what works for your body and slowly ease into it!

    How do you target cellulite on the back of thighs and buttocks?

    • @Fluidisometrics

      Hi Caleb! You can work with the Block or a rolled up towel in these areas. You can lay on the ground and place whichever tool you are using beneath and apply pressure.
