Well this is singing. No superlatives are adequate to describe this song. Jimmy Carter and Clarence Fountain are among my favourite singers of all times. I did not think of this a just a gospel song. But as a SONG. Period. Ben Harper excels himself also. His quieter gentler voice complements very well Jimmy Carter's husky but rousing singing. That voice almost choking and redolent with emotion! Spouting fire and brimstone as he walks to HEAVEN'S GATE. I'm no Christian but I almost converted!!!
