I'm definitely gonna save up for this one! This is exactly what I was looking for. Honestly, Teddy, It's really cool to see how successful you are becoming. Most of the other Watch-Related RUclips creators are really dismissive and condescending talking about any watch under 1000 bucks. You are enthusiastic, well-articulated, and really helpful; you've probably introduced thousands of people, including me, to this hobby, so thank you.
Thank you for this kind remark, my friend. The more watches I handle the more I come to respect certain brands in this affordable tier that provide great value. They are what got me into this so I know what they can represent for others as well.
I agree, Teddy is the one that got me into different kinds of watches And there is a story here, to be more open minded to all kinds of designs and not be a snob.
I have this watch! Had trouble deciding between this beautiful green dial and the version with a white dial but ended up going with white. My first ever automatic and I couldn’t be more pleased, it’s an excellent watch. Since then I’ve “upgraded” to an Orient Star Heritage Gothic. Shoutout Orient for making great watches at an affordable price point.
I bought an Orient Helios Open Heart model in blue, my first automatic watch, about a month and a half ago. I've become a real fan of Orient. For $209, the watch really exceeded my expectations. Beautifully polished case, a blue dial that gives a feeling of depth (like a deep sapphire blue pool), and it is keeping time well, staying extremely close to my quartz Massey Tissot watch and the computer's time. Now I want a Grand Orient watch to go with it!
This is an awesome piece! I first noticed this exact version on your channel and bought it immediately for around 100 Euros here in Germany. For this money this is a real STUNNER! Love Orient and needed to add this to my collection. Thanks for showing! The green it just incredible! Such great bang for buck.
It´s quite beautiful, yes. Your videos help me a lot, but they make the decision of choosing which watch to buy in this price range so difficult. I love them all! Thanks for your great reviews, as usual.
I got the white dial version as my first mechanical watch a few months ago for my 18th birthday. I think the watch in general is very versatile and looks great. Note that the white dial has a slight sunburst effect instead of this textured green version here. Although I don't really prefer the sunburst dial of mine and think it would've looked better with a dial like this one, I think it's still a great watch, with great value for the price.
YES ! Thank you so much Teddy. After your Orient Maestro review of last year of the white dial, I have been eye-balling this green one so badly and hesitating cause I like the color and the bracelet combo a lot. Thanks for the review :D
I just got one. OMG, what a beautiful watch. It's accurately captured in the video here. The dial has such complex reflections that I had problems photographing it. Crazy. And yes, the band works stunningly well in the overall presentation.
Just received mine today and videos don't do justice for this watch. Absolutely stunning dial. Not sure if Orient changed anything but mine has a sunburst effect that doesn't really show on any of the RUclips videos. Or maybe it's just the different lighting.
Teddy my man, I just want to say that I truly appreciate the beautiful macro shots you pull off in most, if not, all of your videos. It looks something off any watch ad. Also, kinda hooked to this compared to the Bambino after watching this. Keep it up!
Quite an interesting choice for the colour of the dial! It’s always a plus to get an in house movement in this price range. I think a lot of people will appreciate the exhibition case-back even if the movement inside is not decorated, At least the rotor is signed nicely. Water resistance is much more then you would expect on a more dressy piece like this, so it’s a fantastic bonus! And for me personally the 20mm lug width makes this a for sure purchase in my eyes. Just because I think this watch could go with a wide variety of straps (rubber, leather, etc) and still look great.
It is a really beautiful watch with great value! I would buy it but I sadly am a poor student. But when I have enough money, I will spend it on this watch.
Hey dont sorry. I wenn to school when I enternd the watch world. Im now beginning to start my university life. Just save it up and buy the watch you want. If there is a will there is a possibility. There are no excuses!

I love the green one but idk how much I'd wear it. I'm thinking about going with the maestro white dial with blue hands or the the brown and rose gold one.
I ordered this one in green color and received it yesterday it’s a nice size and great looking watch the maestro my first one I plan on getting the bambino with Roman numerals very good watches
I own the white dial with light gold accents and it's a beauty. This dial color is nice but I tend to avoid green as it only works well with white or green shirts . By the way, the hacking movement is excellent as 10 wind-ups will last for 8 hours. I have an Arbutus automatic and you have to wind that thing 32 times to get a full day of run time. I got the Orient at Jomashop for only $138, I am done with buying quartz watches.
No lume hands on this. I persaonlly like it without as it keeps it dressier which I think is good, but I think there is a lot of potential for this line going forward
@@TeddyBaldassarreReviews An extreme amount of potential. I feel taking the Timex Marlin's lume hands probably wouldn't harm the dressiness, but would make the watch an instabuy for me. I have the page opened on your website and really admire it. Is this a regular model dial color? I ask because I potentially will buy this one down the line.
I was planning to buy one of these due to the sizing but I got the Bambino Gen 2 as a gift. Both seem like lovely pieces Edit: nice macros teddy. Keep doing your thing
@Teddy Baldassarre in your opinion which dial looks better this green one or the blue Orient Maestro? Also the blue does not come with the mesh strap so probably leaning towards this green one, looks amazing! I'm deciding between the Orient Maestro and Orient Symphony III. Maestro has cleaner face which does not have the water resist print and smaller case size but the hands and markers of the Symphony III have more style to them! Decisions....decisions! Thanks for the awesome videos!
Hi, whats the diffirence between the RA and RN model on this watch? I saw 2 on Amazon and im not sure which one is which as they are so identical. Please, can someone enlighten me on this. Thanks in advace.
No this has been in their lineup for a bit but relatively newer. I did a review on the maestro when it first cam out but it seems like there has been a shift in the crystal choice on these since the early moments of their release. Really love this green. Gives the simple dial a bit more character.
I'm surprised (and disappointed) that there is no exact model number anywhere. Not mentioned in the video and not written in the description. Then I checked the website and didn't find this particular model. Could someone write the reference number, please? Thanks.
Hey Teddy, is this Maestro green color brighter than the one present on the Kamasu? I sold my Kamasu to my brother because the green dial was very dark, almost black... Also does the blue hands and markers on the Maestro white dial look dark or black most of the time? Which color dial do you like best?
Wow. Going to pester my wife today... she is the big deal MBA, and "handles our money" (protects it from me spending it all on watches and Amazon goodies). This watch is very conservative... like me.
I don’t understand Orients marketing. On their website you cannot search for “maestro”, or their other styles. Your page doesn’t have a style category either. Why are they all jumbled up? Stunning watch from Orient. Thanks for sharing it with us Teddy.
that bracelet costs like 10 USD, I have it too, purchased it for my SKX009 just the 22mm version, pretty nice tho, I like it, and very tough
Any strap alternatives?
Looks great but at 40mm it will wear big since it is all dial. I think this would've been better at 38mm.
A very classy looking piece for very little money. A fine brand.

I'm getting some conflicting info on the glass. Orient's site calls the glass 'crystal glass'. Is that not sapphire?
Alas, it's out of stock on your site, as is the white dial with blue markings.
