Firstly, thanks for the video, and regarding that I have a question of sorts. I've been eyeing the greenish dial Maestro with the mesh bracelet. I'm 21 years old IT student, not wanting to spend too much on what would be my first mechanical watch and for that matter first watch of any kind since I was a kid, back then I wore some cheap quartz but no watch since. Isn't it too dressy for casual everyday wearing by a young guy like me?
I have the blue Maestro. It’s a great everyday watch, that can be dressed up and down. I think it would be a great first mechanical for you if you don’t go the Bambino route, which will ultimately be a bit more dressy.
@@agilekyle how on earth can the Bambino be more dressy? It is inferior to the Maestro as a dress watch is simple which the Bambino is less so compared to Maestro. Nowadays, kids are using minimalist styled watches casually. So it is appropriate to do so.
Agree about hand winding the crown. If feels so industrial and unfortunately quite cheap. But again for the price, things like this have to be expected. I have a love/hate with this watch. It is a beautiful dial and the price for the specs is great. On the other hand I dislike the date window (which bugs me as it looks cheap), the rotor is loud on wrist. I want to like it and I want to hate it. I'm keeping as it frustrates me so much lol
Just change your perspective. Its not supposed to have a fancy border. Simple does not mean cheap. Since its minimalist, it is amazing there is a date at all, but they kept it in to show its not a cheap quartz but still true to its styling heritage. It’s beautiful. And the sound. Oh thats the sound of a real watch. Love it!
I have a white one, love it!!!
+@kristinav7175 I bet.
+@watchyouknow yes indeed😊

I don't think so but that is a personal call.
@@watchyouknow Thanks for that feedback, I really appreciate it. Cheers

Looks like a nice alternative to the Bambino. The movement is pretty nice as well, definitely better looking than the nh35.
Yes, a great alternative. Also, I subbed to your channel 😄
@@watchyouknow thanks very much, appreciate it a lot
