I have 3 Hisense Roku TVs from 3 different years, and they all have the same Netflix App and they all have the same problem. I also have 2 TCL Roku TVs with with their version of the Netflix App, and it does look and work a little different, but never (i mean never) does the TCL Roku TVs crash/lock-up on any App. The Hisense almost never crashes/locks-up on any App but the Netflix App. Your suggestions/'fixes' are Hisense ‘BS’ answers. The real answer is Hisense needs to fix their Netflix App and push it out as an update to the TVs. We can’t un-install/remove the Netflix App... we can only remove the short-cut and put it back. The actual App with the issue is embedded in the Hisense software on the TV. So this is TOTALLY on Hisense to fix. YET they keep blaming the users. It is really wrong of them and it is really wrong of you who makes these videos and perpetuates their BS answers. IT IS Hisense who needs to fix their App. I have since stop buying Hisense TVs as presents and have replace 1 of my 3 TVs with TCLs. BUT I am still upset that Hisense is not fixing their version of the Netflix App. There are 1,000s of complains about this and they keep blaming the user. Really not right. And there support does the same BS steps as given in this video. BUT, the unplugging of the TV for 30+ secs does 'work' the best.
The real issue is the Netflix App on the Hisense Roku TVs are set to see more buffer memory then what is actually available to the App. So the App pauses (and crashes) as the TV doesn't free-up as much buffer memory as it is reporting. This problem is in the Netflix App on the Hisense TVs and Hisense needs to fix their version of the Netflix App on their products.
Have you figured out a work around for this? I was considering adding a more current fire stick or Roku stick, 🤷🏻♀️
My mom has issue on the netflix and plus it is not working
