Not sure why people give Rob a hard time in the comments. Without Rob there wouldn’t be any videos at the end of the day… think about it. It’s a partnership and he clearly does is fair share of the work. They play to each others strengths.
You hit the nail on the head! Without each others strengths you wouldn't have such a great team👍
Voice Overs during the timelapse really helps, Rob, well worth the extra time put in. 👍🎙
Chris- "I need to take 30 minutes and eat my lunch"
Rob- "No problem- keep on working and I'll eat it for you"
Another super job guys, @ the two minute past ten workshop😗. I like how you were enjoying you sarnie Rob and watching Chris getting on Rob 🤣. Enjoy the rest of your weekend guys...👍
Well done Chris, YOU worked hard on that one.
Rob, I’m sure the voiceovers on the timelapse add work for you, but they massively improve the content. Nice one lads.
Chris got cracking once again with the bodywork. I am pleased he managed to save the bonnet, one less panel to buy. He did a great job as always. The stickers came off quite easy which is great but as you said they have not been on there very long. Nice job Gents. If it were me I would do the airbag before the paint just so that it doesn't get knocked. Thanks Rob and Chris for another fine video, have a good weekend. 👍👍
Everybody needs a Chris in their life. Wish he was in mine. All the best. Mick.
Another van showing off Chris's skills on the bodywork. This ones going to be top notch when done.
I have the same van but the Citroën dispatch psa equivalent & just like you the front end parts we're extortion ! I did however save on a rad pack from a grand Picasso as there the same, the lower rad support was from a 308 so there's alot of identical bits. The dash was a bit of a nightmare to fit as there's a big bar across the middle which will need undoing. Airbag module is right beneath the gear stick under the carpet I also had to solder a new connector to the driver airbag as it was burnt.
yes and the module is a pig to get to, I managed to get to it by taking out the passenger seat lifting the flooring rubber with pieces of wood just high enough to get my arm in with a ratchet, 3 nuts+2 plugs.
Rob I appreciate the problem with getting parts, the newer the vehicle the less chance of finding parts at the breakers. That puts you at the mercy of the rip-off dealers that we all have to shell out for when we get our cars serviced! Brilliant work by Chris as usual. 👏
Chris the master 🤓🪛🔧👌
He sure is bud 👌
P S rob you make a brill vid
Chris is the master rob is the hustler
"expert"
Nice job Chris ! Hard to believe that Peugeot parts are more expensive than Mercedes as always doing a good repair take care Chris and rob see you on the next video
Thanks for another great video, the vans looking good as all your repairs do. I think you are going to find all the parts prices are going to double if they haven't already, and more stuff will become unavailable even with pattern parts. I paid 6K for a non damaged 2010 F150 truck here in Canada a month ago, I did all the work in my spare workshop time to "MOT" it rebuilding brakes, some steering components, exhaust manifolds and a service with oil and coolant flushes. The parts bill is over 3K and some of that like park brake cables was hard to find in non OEM/spiteful when I did find them and this is a common truck sharing parts from about 09 to 2014. I valued that Truck at 10K before I started and i'm pretty well there and the insurance confirmed that's it's book value yesterday when I paid sales taxes on it. Anybody that bought it, and paid for the work I did was going to be 5K plus in the hole again. There was nothing in it realistically to buy and flip it, luckily I'm in it to keep it quiet a while. Take care guys.
Time lapse of Rob eating his lunch😄
I can see why my Peugeot Expert got written off 2 years ago on the M25. I was hit by a Jag when stationary and pushed to wards a van in front of me. So I steered it into the barrier to miss it. The Jag had lifted the back of the van and was pushing me along on the spare wheel.
another cracking video showing Chris at he's best with that bodywork can't wait to see the end result of that van as its going to be one smart looking van keep them coming guys looking forward to the next video 👍👍👍💯💯💯
The "Dream Team" are working their Magic. Once again. See you both in the next one. 👍👍
Great Job Done
Why don’t you watch the video first 🤔😂
Holy whatever rob had to rewind when you said the price of the alternator, what on earth makes it so expensive, got the grass cut this morning and I’ve been waiting patiently for this post , great work as ever guys
Sorry I had to laugh Chris with the mask on his head 😂
I had to listen to this video instead of watching it while made the dinner. I chuckled, because it’s like listening to a Guy Ritchie film 😂
Brilliant progress both,it looks so much better.Chris has done a great job on the bonnet.the decals seem to come off with a bit of work.
The key is the heatgun loosening the adhesive.
Done this sort of thing myself over years.
I identify with it having done it too !
As per usual Chris got that bodywork looking spot on - like the voice over during the time lapse sections of the video👍
A wise man told me, Only buy a Car or Van that you can afford to service or repair. You guy's just proved his point. Big thumbs up.
Absolutely fantastic work & chris never fails to make panels look brand new im always amazed how good he makes them look look forward to seeing the next video 👍👍👍👍
10:58 - thats a fancy hat Chris is wearing, where can I get one? 😉🤣🤣
Chris is just a perfectionist looking forward to seeing the finished work
Well done guy's can't wait to get the next one 👏 👍
Thanks Rob for your narration & time lapse of the refurb of the Peugeot van. Loved the attention to detail and flexibility of Chris working around your filming 🎥 👌
Interesting you sourced parts from 🇪🇸 Spain.
A wise and prudent approach to conquering that huge price difference between Mercedes & Peugeot.
Van looks so tidy with signwriting being de -stickered.
Look forward to it coming back from paintshop ready for airbag kit reinstatement 😊
Thanks for the video. Maybe interesting to look into getting some spay foam insulation on the workshop roof to keep it more habitable for you guys.
A double skin is better - like an army tent in the desert
Chris's know how and years of hands-on must be just so invaluable!
I love it when the video drops on Saturdays. Thanks chaps 👍
Chris has done a brilliant job with this van especially the bonnet top work. 👍
Hi Rob,Paul from Australia here, you two blokes do a fantastic job,you make wheeler dealers look like complete amateurs,I actually don’t mind the Timelapse because it shows that you actually do the work and not a team of ten men, keep the videos coming I’m really enjoying them 👍
Chris really is a master of his Trade together you really are a great team absolutely fantastic to watch and I've learnt a lot over the last 2/3 years that I've been a fan of your channel
Hi rob and Chris, great job on the van, can't wait to see it finished. From marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
A great job again as always guys . That is a lovely van . Enjoy this nice weather.
Top job Chris, can’t wait to see it all done.
I’ve a 2016 vxl Astra and since Vauxhall was taken over by PSA the price of service parts is astronomical. A service on the Astra was more than my Audi.
Brilliant work again guys.
Had the same issue with a Kia Stonic I rebuilt. Spent the same amount in parts as I paid for the car. Still worth doing it as you can still make a good profit. Good video guys. 👍
Yet again another cracking video lads thanks for sharing.
Great work as always gentlemen, thank you for sharing.
Hi Rob and Chris, that's going to be a very nice van, Chris is a bodywork wizard , very talented, Rob's talents keeps it all flowing, great team guy's. Liking this new video posting setup, keep em coming. Alex.
Hello Rob & Chris, tremendous to see the transformation for this van, even though it has taken a lot of effort in preperation and the replacement (exspencive) parts. Quite interesting to see Chris bodywork skills, and the perfect results and finish! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
Well done lads! I bet those graphics were expensive when fitted. Removing them changed the van completely. ✌🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Is it just me or does Chris look like Papa Smurf at 10:57 ?!
Great watching these two guys add there own value to each project, each has there own strength to achieve the same objective ………another successful build ! Well done guys 👍🏴
Great work guys. Chis your a true craftsman. Is there anything you can't fix..looking forward to the next video 👍
Nice work as usual guys!
Wish I could find a body shop near me at Guildford to sort my car out! Chris would do it with his eyes closed!
Great job Chis, its goin to look brand new this van 👍👍
It's coming along nicely now chaps. Stunned at how expensive those parts prices are, especially given that van is spread over several brands. I'm not surprised you'll steer clear for a while, daylight robbery. It will look factory fresh in no time with you pair on it 👌🏻
Chris is such a master on the body work as well as mechanics, you are great team. 👍👍👍👍👍
11:00 was wondering if Chris was a bit early thought it was a Christmas hat LOL
How the fk can an alternator cost 800 quid!!! Does it charge the national grid or something? Madness
Smart alternator probably, they cut in and out to save drag when the battery is charged, saves 1p of fuel every 1000miles, which you end up paying when it takes a dump
Cracking bit of bodywork there Chris
Well done Chris, craftsman at work 👍🥸
Cracking body work on that Van
Chris and his healing hands on those panels yet again. He's the master. Tell me Rob, is there anything he can't do, I bet he could weld water 🤣. Great vid guys, keep them coming 👍💯
Chris is truly an all round when it comes to vehicle repairs. Well done guys 🎉
10:56 Chris doing his best Smurf impression. 😊
Brilliant Rob and Chris all way a great video guys
Lot of work, first class as usual .
Love watching you two, keep it up, Chris is a legend 👏
I would've thought parts would be cheap with it being a common van. Nice job guys!
Hi guys if you ever need an alternator or starter try wood autos, very very competitive never found anyone cheaper 👍🏻
Great work lads as usual. Someone is in for a treat when it’s finished
Unbelievable Chris what a craftsman 👍👍👍
Great team work and a great result on the van but especially the bonnet, I don’t know how you do all the running around Rob I did it for a day and I’m nearly demented 😅👍🏻🏴
it's magic...
thanks for the show...
take care fellas...
Great video chaps. I know you said no more 500s, but let’s have one for old times sake. Just got a new one for my other half and it’s a great city car
Yet another great video lads Chris has done it again 👌
Chris has some great patience, I hate doing body work!!!
GoodVibes
Chris is on such a different level!
Good old Rob filling is face at 100 mph 😂
Amazing bodywork Chris
Great video and nice work as always. This Stellantis van is shared by Peugeot, Citroen, Toyota, Fiat and Vauxhall. I wonder if the identical Vauxhall parts may have been cheaper due to them supplying major Fleet customers like BT ,Virgin Media 02 , Sky , and Royal mail and the high UK sales of the Vauxhall Vivaro
Another great video gents. Thank you.
Nice van that. Wouldn't mind upgrading to one myself. Thanks for the film
Nice and bright HDR footage, well done
Always great work
Chris looks great in his Smurf hat 😂😂
Lovely project as always!
Experts at work
As always never disappoint fantastic video, Chris is such a fantastic master at many trades .
See you in the next video guys.
thankyou gentlemen another quality upload,,👌👍
Great video 📹 👍 again fellas I am glad that Chris managed to save the bonnet god knows how much that would have been. This has been a pricey one to put back together but as always you two have pulled it off, take care and stay lucky and healthy 👍 😅😊. Have a great weekend looking forward to Wednesday's video 📹 as usual.
Chris a bit premature for the Christmas 🎄 ⛄🎁 party?
Hat on the head
Keep up the good work you two, this van should be worth the money when finished.
Another cracking job
The Ford rs must be off to the painters . Exited to see the updates . Good work 👏
Chris is the most skilled craftsman I've ever seen...and I am multi skilled 💯👌
And Rob is a sound geezer 😂💯👌
Perfection as always chris 👌👌
Another good one.
Hay rob my college has got one of those vans on an 18 plate and is a crew van love the voice over 😊
Clue? Rob your Escort has gone to paint! 👍😎😁
Superb video once again lads your attention to detail is literally second to none ,as for the parts prices ,was the person at the shop wearing a black mask and carrying a pair of pistols !!!! robbery !!
Top job top team awesome thanks for your time and consideration 👍🇬🇧🚗🚗🚗
Beautiful job , hopefully although it's an expensive fix you will do well out of it
Out the park again lads!
Chris !Well Done Mate 👍👍👏👏👏👏
