I always told my daughter that dating is really just trying on other people to see if they fit. Take the time to know them and when someone is right for you, there is no doubt. It just "feels" right. If you fake yourself to get them, you cannot sustain that, no matter how cute they are, without getting an ulcer or something. So be yourself and never settle for sorta ok, on this one way trip in life, because that only keeps both of you away from true happiness and that is a real tragedy.

I want to watch more of this kind of videos. You are my biggest inspire recently and you made a big impact in my life. I am going through the same thing right now, ive been in this toxic relationship for 1,5 year and finally i am able to let it go. We broke up with him for the thousandth time today but the difference is that, i am not willing to be back. Ive been always scared to see what would my life look like without him and always ended up being with him. But I feel more gratitude than pain this time that we are not together. Whenever that sad feelings come, i just tell myself “ everything will be okay at the end” like you said. I trust your words Meghan. And I can let go of this toxic person for me. I can be happy even happier without him in fact. Life is beautiful.
I need some more tips on how to keep busy and not focus on being alone.
    Thank you for the video

Moving on from my last toxic relationship honestly healed me inside and out. I thought the world was over, but as those weeks passed, I realized that my health and emotional well-being was WAY more important than any boy will ever be. I can truly say that I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and it’s because I’m finally taking care of myself and doing what’s right for me for once. Loved this video, Meghan ❤️ I needed that extra reassurance boost.

Meghan life has its ups and downs, what is meant for you won't pass you by. You're learning fast and that takes guts. Well done. I'm 61 and only now learning to become much more assertive and not accept shoddy treatment from anyone. I was and still am a people pleaser, probably too kind but once that's taken for granted or someone over steps the mark, I'll let them know I'm not impressed nicely. Does this make sense. Maybe you could put it better than me in a video. Thanks, jx

Our gut instinct comes from our solar plexus chakra, which acts as the guardian of our energy system. When a situation is misaligned with our values, we can feel a knot or tension in that area. Sometimes though I find that fear triggers my gut/solar plexus as well, so it's important to distinguish whether fear or misaligned values are triggering our gut. For example, does fear of losing a relationship trigger our gut or does incompalibility trigger it? It's tricky sometimes but ultimately we know deep down what we must do. I listen to my heart when all else fails.

Meghan, I COMPLETELY relate. This time last year I was completely fixed on moving to another province. Everything seemed to be pushing me to make that decision and it honestly felt like fate. When it actually did happen I had this overwhelming feeling that it was wrong and I needed to be closer to home and to my family. In the end it was one of the most difficult choices I have ever had to make but I feel so grateful that I listened to my gut. Things still aren't perfect, but I can trust that I am on the right path, the one that is right for me. I find that the major benefit we can achieve from listening to our inner voice is that we come to realize what we truly value above everything else. If we pursue the things that really matter to us, we will always be moving in the right direction. Thank you so much for this video and for always creating content that is true to you! 🙏🏼

Thank you for this video Meghan, it seemed to arrive just when needed. I am struggling to decide my academic path. I left high school one year earlier because social anxiety was making it really hard to go, there or anywhere else. I figured I could have a mental health year and come back after that, but my parents thought i was just rebelious and I ended up taking care of the house. Depression and an eating disorder came after that, but my social anxiety seemed to be getting better. After thinking it way too long, I decided I wanted to go back to high school, the issue was that I had to start all over again. Me being 18 going back to first year of high school. I convinced myself it was the right thing to do, and now, four months into high school, I don't know anymore. I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety, and a couple panic attacks. Just found out i also have ADD. I know all of that is meant to be treated separately, and to be honest, school is quite pleasant. But a part of me feels like, the effort and the money put into it is not worth it. Like I'm too much in my comfort zone. Like I'm just sipping information. And I can't really relate to my classmates anymore. I don't know if I really want to do this. I can make an exam in a couple months to get my high school certificate and go to college, I just would have to study a lot harder during those preparation months. And decide on my career choice, which is another thing that's still unclear. Please, if you could give me some advice I'd really appreciate it. Sorry this was extremely long. Thank you for your videos.

Samantha Am hi there! I know exactly how you feel. Can you get your grade 12 by doing online classes or GED? In this day and age, you can get your grade 12 without even entering a school. Once you accomplish your grade 12, you will feel more confident in yourself to do the next best step. I understand social anxiety is hard but is it only really bad when you go to school or even when you go to restaurants, malls etc?

Megan, I think this video showed up today to me because I really needed to hear words like yours. Almost two years I work somewhere I know I don't belong to for long time. But I don't have a courage to quit. Last few months were very hard for me. I was on sick leave I couldn't stay there. I am 36 and I search for my path. But I feel so strongly I cannot stay anymore in this place, every day there is a struggle for me. Yesterday afternoon I almost makde a decision I am going to quit tomoroow (it means today). I decided to get up a little earlier and think a little, watch one your video and make a decision. And I found this, like a little miracle. I heard words I needed to hear. More than anything I wanted to feel my choice is right because it is mine and I know place where I am now only stops me for doing...what is right for me.
Megan, thank you for content you create. I would like you to know you are someone special, you make me wiser and more confident. I wish you to always be a person like you are. Thank you so much! :*

So are you in the mist of making a hard decision that you know is best for you or have you already made such decision? What is happening in your life right now that is stirring up these feelings? Just wondering because it appears you are concerned or bothered by something. Just an observation. Hope all works out for you!

This partner didn’t work out. That’s okay. As a Pagan, we believe in hand fasting. For a period of a year and a day, a couple commits to each other. At the end of the time, vows can be renewed. Marriage, while okay for 50% of people ( the other 50% hire lawyers), is largely a money grab by first, the church and now by the wedding industry. For those who say a year and a day doesn’t give stability to children, my relationship lasted 30 years, saw all three kids go to university and provided more happiness than it did tears. All done without the need of payment to a religious institution or going into heavy debt.
