As someone who just started to design pins, this was so super helpful! Though i already gave my supplier a jpeg file xD but preparing the file in Illustrator saves that step for the supplier, right? AWESOME VIDEO! You explained it so well! Thank you :)
This is great! Im looking to make pins myself and been looking into ways i can get a jump on starting. I was really wondering about the color choices so ill have to look into a way to get pantone color swatches as well... as im poor, but want to make my pins the best they can be
thanks so much! a pantone book is a good investment i think, i do aim to get one soon. :) p.s.: be sure to get the pantone solid coated book (or one with that option) as that's what's more accurate to pinmaking! good luck~
Hi Chiqui, thank you for sharing this tutorial, Actually, I was about to start making an enamel pin design. but I don't know how and what to start. how do you get your inspiration for your design, please share us, thank you

Hiii! I really liked this tutorial, it's super clear and helpful. I'm thinking about create enable pins but I don't have any experience so, can u pls tell me what's the screen print? Thank you sooo much ✨
Screen printing is manually printed in accordance with the color block on the screen, the color is clear, the water chestnut is clear. But do not screen print the gradient, it will not print the gradient effect.uv machine printing can make a gradual effect.
im new to this, what is a screen print, and if i color the colors in with blob paint brush would it work ? and if you're in malaysia can u tell me which are the better pin manufacturers ?
unfortunately my manu has recently begun charging for samples and their quality has declined so i'm afraid i can no longer recommend them! :c it's a bit difficult to find new manus but i did find my current one on IG hehe :) just do your research on manus & find some research on manu reviews on the PMR (Pin Manufacturer Review) groups on IG!
I've noticed some pins have a gold-ish lining around the black outline. Do you draw that gold part in as well or is it something you pay manufacturers extra for?
@@sinnsan1427 adobe illustrator is for the PC/mac, not sure if they have an ipad pro unfortunately! but you can match pantone colors to your design on the official pantone site i believe. :)
I don’t think there’s a way to figure out pantones in procreate but I believe you can find close pantone colors online? Just search pantone color picker & you can find some results ☺️

@@ChiquiCreates Thank you! I'm glad you could find another manufacturer that works :))
Big question! Does it matter what size the design is when you send it in to get looked at by the company you chose?
I've noticed some pins have a gold-ish lining around the black outline. Do you draw that gold part in as well or is it something you pay manufacturers extra for?
Did you draw this on an ipad or using laptop? Btw this video is really helpful!
At 2:37 what software are you using here?
hey im new to this, can you tell me how you copied the part of the trident and turned it 90 degrees counter clockwise to make it symmetrical?
Hello! Nice work! Are you using a wacom? ^^
thank you! yes i'm using an old wacom tablet tbh lol
is it necessary to use illustrator to color the pin?
Is the Pantone swatch palette free?
yes it should be in every illustrator color library :)
Hello. Thanks for sharing btw I’m using a iPad Pro is it the adobe illustrator? I’m having a hard time filling in the colors to my designs = (

How do we go about adding glitter? ✨

How to take the screen print details im sorry im really new to this

What is screen printing
do you think I can still learn illustration without proper education?
what canvas size?
this one in particular is A4 horizontal size but honestly any size will do! the pantones, pin size, & other pin details are more important :)
it IS espensive and I am ALSO poor 🙃
