these panels collect the available water in the air and convert it into hydrogen, due to which these solar panels can be used even at night.
hydrogen is a very powerful fuel that is used extensively in industries. Apart from this, it can also be used in the automobile sector like our electric vehicles, airplane and the hydrogen made from the hydrogen panel is green hydrogen which is completely pollution-free.
however, there are many challenges in front of the hydrogen panel. In this video, with the help of 3D animation, the working of the hydrogen panel and its challenges have been discussed in detail.

Iridium as well as platinum catalyst materials are rare and therefore very expensive, are there other less expensive replacements? What is the practical feasibility of these hydrogen panels. For example, while solar panels existed to convert sun light into electrical energy for a long time, due to cost and the low efficiency of the solar panels, they did not become as popular as economically viable as one would have expected years ago. Given that, what is the cost vs benefit analysis.

For experiment in the lab its ok but this will never come in production because
A) Gas generation will be very slow.
B) The gas pressure will be extremely less to safely store it
C) It is required to have more moisture in the air. This weather condition means more clouds and possibly rain thus less sun shine. How will solar panel work effectively in such cloudy weather condition
D) Use of precious material for anode and cathode makes it a costly affair. Earth has extremely less amount of Iridium and Platinum. These panels would require an array of anode and cathode.
E) Energy per unit by these panels is way more costly than other ways of energy capture methods.
Overall, this method cannot shape and contribute our current and future energy demands.
