I love the tone cloud idea! Was always one that just wanted to play and not sit there tweaking so the cloud lets me find tones i like and if needed slightly tweak them real quick. beats the hell out of sitting there for hours tweaking LOL
Sure make my life easier! LOL! Just find a tone that is close to what you are after and tweak to taste! usually only takes me a few minutes compared to a few hours starting from scratch. or in some cases keep the tone as is. :)
surgeyX - heads up man they have a cheaper version for $699... got mine on order ! a few Hardware differences of course but same body wood 3/4 inch Maple top with his new EMG passive pickups
people always talking about his picking never got that but they so fast to come see his video playing smh yall do known his picking is why he sound good right haha
That guy's right hand technique is sooooo weird !! sounds awesome though. He put out some of the best Megadeth solos in my opinion, and stays a "kind of tone"
Easy, you just twist your wrist "outwards". As for why he's doing it, that's also an easy explanation. He does it to avoid palm-muting the strings. This creates a louder, clearer & more sustaining sound, compared to the sound that you get when you rest your hand on the bridge/trem/strings. It works good for ballad-y type stuff, as well as quicker stuff as well. but it requires a real finesse to pull it off neatly though, as if you're not careful, the open strings will ring out and create all kinds of unwanted noise.
Marty's one of those guys where all you need to hear is a few notes to know it's him.
I can tell if it's Marty, just by the bend.
His bends are amazing. Full of power and feel.
Marty's playing is life !!!
2:43 the lick
XuenCheng Sim Bahaha after watching those vids that lick was never the same
A Jackson Les paul! i never thought i would see one of those!
I really like this guitar
yeah it is real classy looking like a futuristic Les paul!
Bet the neck is like playing air! :)

Has this guy even aged at all
That is a sick guitar...I want it!

His hair is just as beautiful as his guitar.
Clay Underearth No. It definitely is not. It is AWFUL!
Do the distorted sound get better when using this physical pedal on computer or even an amp, then etc just the desktop software alone without?
what 's song at 2:16

he's playing "amazing grace" in this?
Yep! Good call. :-)
Thank you.
people always talking about his picking never got that but they so fast to come see his video playing smh yall do known his picking is why he sound good right haha

is he picking in a circular motion? every since he recorded with Jason Becker this guy trips me out.
Yeah, he is using that technique too.
That guy's right hand technique is sooooo weird !! sounds awesome though. He put out some of the best Megadeth solos in my opinion, and stays a "kind of tone"

Marty ftw!
no matter how many times i practice i cant copy his vibrato stuff. seems like im doing the sane thing but doesnt sound the same to me
You can't because Marty is guitar God.
Where can I get the tabs for that amazing rendition of Amazing Grace?
this is pretty easy to learn by ear...
Dem triads.
the way he uses his right hand will give out arhritis
Definitely unique style.
Fast licks eh
Wrong marketing approach. Looks like no one is giving a shit about the pedal in the comments lol
He's not "selling it" with his words.
His playing, yeah, that can sell anything, we know this.
I love Marty. I don't love so much watching his right hand. Makes me cringe.

Haha i had just typed the following when i noticed your comment "he's a great player but how he holds his picking hand always freaks me out"
Hehe!
Have to agree, I couldn't do it that way. But to each their own.
RickyboyH he's not saying no can't do it. But how good he plays like this is, is just crazy. Duh anyone can turn their wrist. Common dude.
distortion pedal so you should've had him play megadeth solos
yeah, i'm sure he would be happy to play material from a band he left 20 years ago.
