@@johnconnor7501 Yes... And it was just to say that the main characters were so badly written, that you feel bad for the dog more than them. Which absolutely destroys a thriller which you need to sympathize with the main character in order for you to feel worried for them in that morbid situation. That was not the case here. Not that I usually prefer dogs to humans.

The way they set up the ending, it's like we're supposed to know who the killer is. With how he drammatically takes his mask off, and it showing only the back of his head, espeicially with Reggie coming to sniff his hands. I thought the twist would be Charlie was the killer somehow

The film's biggest downfall is the lack of context. It doesn't answered the question , why did the killer do it? Important to know since his killing spree become a major part in the second half of the film, but never answered.

I suspect that the killer was the mans brother the one who died and he started killing people who rent the house for revenge or possibly some other reason but at the same time it wouldn’t make sense for him to do that and bc he’s dead

Mina caused everyone’s death, she overreacts and assumes things. I mean she cheated on her boyfriend and acts normally, so she’s already a horrible person. It’s clear she blames others for her own misfortunes. Probably got denied because of a past rental experience.
No I remember watching this and they specifically pointed out she had a good record. And she didn't comment on that one herself but upon meeting the guy, his racism was there if only subtle. And the fact they found the cameras in there, I don't know how anyone of sane alarm bells wouldn't connect it to the renter initially? I would blame the boyfriend's glaring anger issues prior to blaming her, regardless of the moral judgment on her character.
The worst kinda cheat is when u fuck your brother/son/father 's wife/gf. And still able to live as if nothing happens.

I like how there are people acting as if Mina's the worst out of all 4, when Charlie was the one who got the hot tub, convinced Mina to get in after she told him about Josh, knew that his wife was asleep, then got in the shower with her after she was the only one to feel uncomfortable with it, then later convinces her again to not call the cops about the camera and act as if nothing happened

They would leave next day, she could just let it go and leave. The killer was waiting for her to break them up and kill one by one. She was catalyst for it. Beside, she remind of everyone the nerd in the class who remind teacher of homework.

It just hit me that he got killed in the bathtub which was probably also filmed and I'm now questioning if it wouldn't have actually been smarter to call the police since there should be evidence that someone else killed him (if they can retrieve the footage somehow)

I actually enjoyed this film a lot. Felt like an old school slasher. And the ending is interesting to me. Just another day at the office. Makes you question who the real main character is.

Josh is also bad, almost beating a man to death (he did think he was attacking his wife tho) and then trying to hide the body instead of calling an ambulance. Also he does drugs like the others.
I don’t really know who is the worst one here… for Michelle it would be easiest to call the cops coz her and Josh aren’t really related. And Josh beating him was coz he thought he was attacking his wife. I probably have to say Charlie is the worst for pushing Mina into cheating and the rest of the list.
EDIT: I just remembered that Charlie tried to save his wife which shows he isn’t really a bad person. Mina on the other hand runs while Josh is getting killed.

I hate horror movies like this so much. It's just empty nihilism and cruelty for the sake of it. There's no real lesson, nothing of much value you can take from it, no real entertainment. What do I get out of watching four miserable people getting killed off one by one by some random, personality less killer? A crude analogy I can think of is equating mindless slashers to sex. A lot of slashers are just there to be fun kill fests, and most of the time sex is just there for fun and pleasure. Movies like this are like sex in a loveless marriage where both parties aren't having any fun and are just doing it because they don't want to admit that it's not working out. It's mechanical and completely soulless.
