- In this video, we go over how to creat a provisioning package in Windows ICD and then deploying it with MDT. I'm using MDT Build 8443 and the latest Windows ADK installation files.

Note to anyone reading this, if the file path to the package or the package has any spaces you need to put " " in the command line to call the path literally. Like...
DISM.exe /Image=C:\ /Add-ProvisioningPackage /PackagePath: "\\server\location with space\package name.ppkg"

Question-In the latest version of ADK, with WCD installed, did they take the "Deploy" option away? I am only seeing a "Export" option. The "Deploy" option allows you to export Project right to USB.
I deploy MDT images via USB flash drive. I copy the deployment share litetouch.iso media to the flash drive using Rufus. When I try to run the task sequence, the deployment package fails. It fails because it cannot find the file specified. Does the fact that it is USB install change anything in regard to the command line info? For instance, what about image=C:?
If i have a usmt.ppkg from a scanstate and want to deploy it this way, the only thing it does is to copy the file to recovery/customisation...but it wont deploy the apps in it. Is there another way for Initial customization blobs?
Is the deploy option on ICD removed from newer version of ADK 1709 ? I cant find it on ICD
nice video, but with the latest MDT and ADK 2004 your command line in MDT is not working anymore. Any idea how to get it work?

We have WDS (6.1.7600.16385) and MDT (6.3.8330.100) on Server 2008, and there is literally no budget lol. My current workflow is this: I build a physical Win 10 Pro PC from scratch > sysprep and capture with WDS > export WIM to import into MDT and configure with Task Seq/Sel Profiles > export ISO. I know the answer is yes to be able to improve my current workflow, but don't know how. If I could build an ZTI ISO image that'd be great! Will ICD be of help in this? +Nate you can configure your MDT to capture for you and take advantage of your WDS server to PXE your images over the network so you have to create ISO files.
MDT can capture? I'm gonna have to look into that lol. Forgot to mention, we do use WDS PXE boot for local PCs, but a majority of our PCs are remote and the available bandwidth can't handle PXE deployment. With the limitations on the remote servers, I can't get WDS/MDT on them either. With those limitations we send out ZTI install discs, so all they have to do is boot off of it and let us know when it's done. I've been seeing vids about ICD lately and got me curious if ICD/MDT can pull that off.
how did you get the percentage when deploying images to systems back? i know it was removed in a newer version of MDT and that really sucked. how did you get your back???

i will try updating the ADK tomorrow once i get the chance. i really did not like when they removed the time remaining on the applying image but if they are adding it back im gonna be happy when deploying images.
sadly this did not add the progression bar into the deployment screen. i updated everything to the latest, regenerated and replaced the boot images. i dont know what else to try. i would really like to have the progress bar to see how far the progress is and to see if it is going to fail.
strange the percentage is all of a sudden working. well im happy that i can see how far the imaging is now.
