Hello Nick! I'm learning to be a System Admin in Germany. Your videos help me out a lot when I'm a little tired of the day-to-day work and I experiment with a local server. I enjoy the quality of your videos and the way you express yourself. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming, they're great!
Before you capture the VM turn off Enhanced Sessions. If you run the VM in an enhanced session, there will be an issue with the capture process automatically logging in after it reboots the VM. It has to reboot several times to complete. There's no issue using Enhanced Sessions when doing setup and config, just turn it off before you run the LiteTouch vb script @13:59, besides that I had no issue and this is another great guide! Thank you Nick!
Thank you sooooooo much for putting this together!! Excellent walk through of how this process is supposed to work. There really aren't many good examples of how this works out there on the web, so your video is like Gold. Thank you again.
I will write agian what i already wrote - your tutorials are the best on the world wide web. it's just a pleasure to watch. Thank you for them, i learn alot from them.
Excellent segment on MDT very helpful even in 2020. EDIT: These segments are very detailed and due to that, it makes them MORE helpful in my opinion than ones that require payment like plural sight or CBT
Nice walkthrough. There was one issue with when capturing the image however. For those of you with a blank MDT screen or command prompt window, you need to CD to the C: and remove the MININT folder. rd /S c:\MININT. Close the command prompt window will restart the computer and capturing should proceed as normal after reboot.
Hello Nick! I saw in your guide that when you said that you've put command line for creating new user and making it administrator you didn't show what command you've used. Would be really nice to show cause maybe someone will need that command line but they won't know it. On the other hand you've made really nice guide
This video was really helpful and awsome. I already tried to implement a solution with MDT to deploy our computer, but to process was so much long to experiment and learn. At the end, my company didn't use proper windows license (OEM) to use MDT so I had to scrapt everything I have started. Instead of working with MDT, I do directly my reference image configuration with all the software and specific windows setting. Once finish I run sysprep by command prompt without restart. after that I boot on a ISO of WinPE modified by myselft with a script to capture the system into a wim. I use another script for the deployment... Another way I do it too since we wanted the imaging done by Dell directly I did the capture process with dell Image Assist. Apparently it's preferable to install all the application in Audit mode for a PC in kiosk. Because, if you create an local account during your build image with an internet connection the windows Apps can update themself or deploy. If it's done sysprep no longer work. You can try to fix It but it doesn't work everytime. Dont try to remove the windows store apps... it can break a lot of thing later.
Thank you Mr. NLB solutions person for this very helpful video tutorial. Worked like a charm. Some issues I ran into that might be relevant is the VM client on the reference machine should be installed. It's possible also that one might have to configure the IP address on the reference VM once it comes out of Sysprep/capture. Thank you again.
Not sure if someone can help. I'm facing an issue after running the Lite Touch VBS. After the VM reboots, I do not get the sysprep box to show up. It just boots into the desktop like normal. I'm not sure what's going on here. Any help or guidance? I don't know if it matters, but I'm using 2 ESXi hosts. Host 1 has the Windows Server 2019 and Host 2 has the Windows installation that is to be captured. The server runs MDT 6.3.8456.1000 which appears to be the latest version from MS from what I can tell. They're all on the same subnet and can talk to each other just fine. Permissions are fine as well as the VM to be captured can read/write to shares on the server. The things I have not done are: Join the capture OS to the domain nor installed the VMware tools. I will try joining it to the domain and see if that helps.
Excellent video series, Nick. But now I'm stuck. I want a customized image with some MS software and some tools. And when I start the capture, it looks good, then restart and ... nothing. In the C:\Windows\System32\Sysprep folder there are no error logs. Maybe a size issue?
Hi Nick I'm loving your tutorials. I have a question which hopefully you can help me with. In the above video I can't read the rules created for the media iso, is there anyway I could find a list of the rule with examples so I can custom my media iso further. I basically just want my image to be as close to a no touch installation. Thanks
I'm not sure if you have already found this, but I was looking for them also and Nick (NLB Solutions) already posted them : NLB Solutions 2 years ago Hi Riaan, thank you for the support. Commands are listed below: 1. Create new local account - net user /add [username] [password] 2. Add user account to local administrators group - new localgroup administrators [username] /add 3. Disable builtin local administrator account - net user administrator /active:no
On 15:08 my task sequence doesn't look like this. I created a "sysprep and capture" task sequence in the workbench yet I don't have the options to capture an image. Instead it looks like the first wizard that ran before (asks for credentials and locales). How do I resolve this? The wizard runs a sysprep but there is no capture in the captures folder
@27:12 - what commands were used to create new account, add to admin group, and disable administrator account? I'm guessing these steps aren't necessary? Thank you for the sharing this information, it's the best I've seen. I wish I knew about this sooner.
Hi Nick, Very helpfull! Thanks alot. One question, Why u connect to the Deploymentshare itself (@ 14:00) and open up Litetouch? Why not just boot and run the Tasksequence from Windows Boot PE? (is there any sense to do it that way?)
Hey Nick, wanted to say thanks again after finishing the series how useful these instructionals were for me. One thing, I'm not sure if I missed it but I didn't see how exactly to setup/add the fully customized capture image to the WDS feature, is this just as simple as adding a new image to the list or is it more involved than that? This extra info would be super helpful
Thank you for the useful videos. I have watched both 10 and 11. Have you done one on adding drivers for specific models of computers? Is there a pxe boot option that you can enable on the server so that a PC can boot off network and then choose the image that you are needing on that machine?
Hi William, I haven;t done one adding drivers for specific models but this can be achieved using Out-of-Box drivers in MDT. You can use Windows Deployment server to boot and deploy an image over the network. This can be both Light touch or Zero Touch deployments. blogs.technet.microsoft.com/askcore/2013/05/09/how-to-manage-out-of-box-drivers-with-the-use-of-model-specific-driver-groups-in-microsoft-deployment-toolkit-2012-update-1/
Hello, great video :) Just a short question: You boot the client from a USB-Drive right? Does the client need a connection to the network and the mdt-service, or does the file on the drive work in standalone work?
How do we capture the reference image with copy profile, checked with capture media but its breaking the settings where copy profile not captured any sugesstions
Thank you so much for your videos, I followed your videos, everything works fine, however, would you know why when I capture an image from another machine, MDT creates the wim file but after reboot of the target system, it re-installs the OS on the target machine and I lost most of my settings. I would very much appreciate if you any inputs. Thank you in advance.
Hi , Thanks for the videos, i'm getting error while trying to update the Media,"Task Sequence option not showing" . Also, after complete it when go for selection profile, Task Sequence box unchecked where i saw in video it must be checkin . After then when click on Task sequence getting " this task sequence contains one or more errors that need to be fixed " Kindly advise, what are needing on it ?
Great video and I was able to get it working in my MDT! Question, about capturing an image from a physical computer, not a VM. Let's say there is software that has to be installed on the reference image that can only be installed if the peripherals are actually connected to the computer. In that case, you could not use Hyper-V VM method to create the image, you would need a physical computer to create the image. When you capture the image using your method, the computer will run through Sysprep w/Generalize. With the Hyper-V VM, you can create a checkpoint to prevent any unwanted changes to the compute that Sysprep and Generalize does to the VM. What is the best option for undoing these changes on a physical computer? Is it creating a System Restore Point under System Protection? Would that restore anything like SID info that was stripped out during the SysPrep?
Instead of using iso, is it possible to use wim file and deploy via wds ? In a big environment like "200 to 400" machine i think using iso is not good practice,.
Hello, great video, thanks!!!, I have a question, when install imagen, appear de next message: Please reinsert the media (CD, DVD, or USB) needed to complete the deployment, you know, why?. Greetings and happy new year
Hi Nick We are using an MDT bootable img in our company. Is there any way for me, to use an img as a reference, and add in drivers in MDT, if I only inherited the .ISO and a bootable USB from the previous IT Support? Second question: is it a good idea, to use MDT and Rufus, to make a bootable USB for home users? I mean, in my family, they are using laptops and computers for a various reason, and I would like to make a task sequence with the applications for each one of that way (playing, watching films, surfing, streaming, etc), so I can reinstall their machine much easier than installing all the programs they just need one-by-one. Thank you
Hi Nick, I’m trying to capture image and when try to modify the windows PE I’m getting stuck at MMC loading and it’s throwing error notification I followed your steps. Please respond if anyone have faced same and got it fixed. Thank you.
Hi Nick, thanks for the videos, I do have a question though, when creating the custom is it ok to run all latest windows updates so that no updating is required after building? I would like to keep a master image that I can re-capture every few months that can be deployed. Rob
Help-Getting the following errors. 6192 errors on the sysprep capture. I have been fight with this thing for weeks now. No leads. One would think , one Microsoft product would play nicely with the other Microsoft product. Nope.
I'm running into a problem here. I have one domain server with my MDT server connected to my domain machine. Hype V is being used on my MDT server and for the life of me can't connect to the deployment share. I tried private external, internal and private with no results. I also tried joining the hyper V machine to my domain but was unable to do it. I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Update: I joined my Windows 10 machine to my domain but still unable to connect to the share folder. I made sure network and file discovery was enabled. Still nothing.
lets say i am preparing the windows to capture it and the changes is that I upgrade the 1607 Build to 1709, now I want to sysprep and capture, if I use the 1607 form Operating System From MDT Workbench and in Task Sequence use sysprep & capture, will it work?
Thank you for sharing your knlowdgement Nick! Just one question. The Windows 10 machine you are running on this second part of MDT tutorial, is the machine you have created with the deployment of the first part? The real question is if we can execute the VBS command under \\SERVER\DeploymentShare$\Scripts on any machine or not. Thank you so much!
Thank you, Alex! Yes, this is the same machine I've deployed in my previous video. To be honest MDT has been a big challenge to get things right. I haven't personally tried to capture an image that was not previously deployed using the image created with MDT. You can try and share your results in here!
Thank's for your fast answer. The big deal could be to deploy the final image through the network. I've been reading something and it's possible to do it with the native role 'Windows Deployment Service'. I'll try that tomorrow and share the results here!
I know it's an old video but just wanted to leave my thoughts that I think Treesize probably got installed to appdata on the default admin account (that was later disabled)
Hi Riaan, thank you for the support. Commands are listed below: 1. Create new local account - net user /add [username] [password] 2. Add user account to local administrators group - new localgroup administrators [username] /add 3. Disable builtin local administrator account - net user administrator /active:no
Very nice , is that possible to capture a physical laptop image without deploying the base image? I meant to say can i skip part 1 (deploy image)and continue with part 2 (capturing image)?
Hi, Thanks for the video At 7:18 you are saying about capturing a deployed image . We are making the reference image for deploying . Means first we create a reference image and then deploy ? .Why do we need to choose an operating system in the task sequence (7:31) If we are capturing an image ? When I did this It installed the OS first and captured (Set OSinstall=N) Thanks again
Hi Azu, in few words the process should be: 1.Deploy reference image. 2. Customize the image. 3. Capture the image. Selecting Sysprep and Capture should not install operating system, you should verify your settings.
Hi, I prepared winodows 10 iso image as shown in the video, but I couldn't add the latest win 10 to the WDS server, becuse it didn't contain boot.wim file, how can I add win 10 to the WDS ?
Hi Nick! I am running the Capture script, my Win10 gets syspreped but I don't get the captured wim file. These are my rules: OSInstall=N Skipcapture=NO SkipAdminPassword=YES SkipProductkey=YES SkipComputerBackup=YES SkipBitLocker=YES Docapture=YES. For some reason I didn't get the capture options from min 15:08. I am running MDT 2016 8443 on Win2016 server. Trying to capture Win10 Ent v1703 What I am missing? Thanks a lot! Edit: I used Kabul Khan's solution posted 5 months ago and now it captures the image. In a case Sysprep & Capture Task is not capturing the image, then you need to edit ZTIUtility.vbs script in the \Scripts folder. And Look for this line: If (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_InstallOS']") is nothing) and (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_UpgradeOS']") is nothing) then And change it to: If (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_InstallOS' and @disable='false']") is nothing) and (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_UpgradeOS' and @disable='false']") is nothing) then
It changes you from logging into the domain to logging in with a local computer account. Didn't know you could do that till this video and I've been a server admin for 20+ years!
the answer is you must copy the Administrator Settings to Default user.. but you cant modify the taskbar especially in Win10 without activate the product. locking for solution...
is it possoble to make iso With every thing i need: 1. i Want to apply my own wallpaper in iso, after install it should be applied 2. I want to change settings on "Settings " app like personalization and task bar and other settings, an theesesettings Should be saved after installation 3. That is All i need , i will happy if you ll help me ;)
Please HLEEEPPPPP! I get an error saying "a connectin to the deployment share could not be made. connection ok. possible cause invalid credentials" when running the LiteTouch script from the client machine.
Check your file sharing settings. If that is set up fine, what are you putting in for the Domain. I ran into this issue, and I was able to resolve it by simply putting in DeploymentShare (or maybe try DeploymentShare$) without the rest of the directory path.
Please i need your help with solving this: 1. Create and capture Windows 10 dynamic image using Microsoft Configuration Manager native tools (Windows 10 version supports Dell hardware)
2. Develop a custom Operating System Deployment Task Sequence to deploy the captured Windows 10 image
3.Deploy the relevant Dell Driver Packs during the Operating System task sequence
4. Test the Operating System Deployment Task Sequence on Dell models that support Windows 10
Has anyone got any good tips for deploying an image to a lab? Having all the computers join the domain automatically, users and rights configured, and printers added right from the deployment? Thanks in advance. This video is awesome!
Great video but I keep getting the following errors: 1. @ the 29.59 mark, how did you get language settings to be greyed out? 2. How did you bypass the Admin Password and the Bitlocker fields? 3. At the end, I keep getting the following error: Deployment Error. Invalid DeploymentType value "" specified. The deployment will not proceed. Any suggestions on the above?
Hi amermatk, most of above questions can be answered with the Rules of the MDT Share: 1. SkipLocaleSelection=YES - disable language settings. 2. SkipAdminPassword=YES and SkipBitLocker=YES 3. Try setting SkipProductKey=NO and try again. Even if you select the option not to provide product key.
Wow...thanks for the quick reply...I will try the above. Also, can you recommend an issue that occurs when I get the selection to enter network credentials to join the network right after 15:17 mark in the video and then I can begin the capture.
Can a image be made with out sysprepif I build a reference pc but do not attach to the domain and I have 40 of the same hardwareI would like to capture the pc as is then image each of the 40 pc, where I just have to rename then reboot followed by attaching to the domain then I'm done
Hi, I tried to capture the image ,it successfully captured .But at the end the master pc ended in the error "Windows could not finish configuring the system".... I did the capturing from an account which is local administrator but not default "Administrator" Any ideas Thanks
Hi Azu m, from the error message I am not able to determine what could have caused it. I suggest for you to go through the logs and see what exactly caused it.
Yes, that's why you have to run "sysprep" before capturing the image. Sysprep removes all the operating system configurations to the hardware you're using so it can be installed on another hardware!
Many thanks for the videos, In a case Sysprep & Capture Task is not capturing the image, then you need to edit ZTIUtility.vbs script in the \Scripts folder. And Look for this line: If (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_InstallOS']") is nothing) and (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_UpgradeOS']") is nothing) then And change it to: If (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_InstallOS' and @disable='false']") is nothing) and (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_UpgradeOS' and @disable='false']") is nothing) then after that update DeploymentShare and this should enable the option to capture image and or select path. Once again thanks Nick for this informative video.
Hi Kabul and thank you for sharing this. Personally I had some issues with capturing images in the past and I had to modify the scripts to execute properly. Your comment is highly valued here!
Thank you very much for the above info....this was causing me problems, as well. Anything you can recommend since I get the selection to enter network credentials to join the network right after 15:17 mark in the video and then I can begin the capture....also, thanks NLB Solutions....awesome video!
After four days of re-watching these videos & driving myself crazy, I finally found your comment! Thank you Kabul for your help :) @nlbsolutions should seriously add this to the video description
Hi Hansel, yes I had to read a lot of guides and do a bit intense testing to achieve the thing I was aiming for. That is why I decided to share with you guys, so at least someone can benefit by saving some time.
Thank you for this great video. I am in the process of configuring and setting up the WDS and MDT and like your Video a lot. I am getting a few errors though and was wondering what I overlooked. Would you be able to take a look at the error log? If so, can you please provide me an email address to send it?
Hello Nick, Yes, I am... Can I send you the error log ( setupact.log)? I am not sure how to overcome these errors as they are indicating the existence of an application on a profile and can not be removed.

Hi Captain, SkipCapture=NO is what you seek.
I did absolutely everything that's in the video and tried three times, no good
same problem here
Had the same problem but this fixed it for me: superuser.com/questions/1172335/mdt-2013-update-2-sysprep-and-capture-doesnt-even-show-up

I mean, in my family, they are using laptops and computers for a various reason, and I would like to make a task sequence with the applications for each one of that way (playing, watching films, surfing, streaming, etc), so I can reinstall their machine much easier than installing all the programs they just need one-by-one.
Thank you
Excellent video Thank you
Hello Nick. Can you share the commands you use to create new admin users and disable administrator account
Yes Please Kindly Share the Commands you use
Awesome Tutorial. Thanks!
Hi Nick, I’m trying to capture image and when try to modify the windows PE I’m getting stuck at MMC loading and it’s throwing error notification I followed your steps. Please respond if anyone have faced same and got it fixed. Thank you.
Thanks! Great information sir
Hi Nick, thanks for the videos, I do have a question though, when creating the custom is it ok to run all latest windows updates so that no updating is required after building? I would like to keep a master image that I can re-capture every few months that can be deployed. Rob
Hi Rob, yes you can. Using a virtual machine can help a lot on this one as well.
Help-Getting the following errors. 6192 errors on the sysprep capture. I have been fight with this thing for weeks now. No leads. One would think , one Microsoft product would play nicely with the other Microsoft product. Nope.
Hi Nick ,you really amazing instructor ,can you please show how to create TASK SEQUENCE and create package IN SCCM ?
The iso file i created has no sources folder with boot.wim file, how do i deploy it using WDS
Hi Nick, if i want to move the user profile from c:\user to d:\user using the answer file, at which part in your video should i do that
I'm running into a problem here.
Yes, using Windows Deployment Services you can deploy images through the network. Thank you for your time!
I know it's an old video but just wanted to leave my thoughts that I think Treesize probably got installed to appdata on the default admin account (that was later disabled)
hi Nick thanks you for the tut very helpful, please share the cmnd line used to add users and disable administrator please
Hi Riaan, thank you for the support. Commands are listed below:
1. Create new local account - net user /add [username] [password]
2. Add user account to local administrators group - new localgroup administrators [username] /add
3. Disable builtin local administrator account - net user administrator /active:no
awesome bru enjoy a lovely day
another Q Nick i have disabled the sysprep execute option in task sequence, could this be related why my applications dont want to install?
@@NLBSolutions 2. Add user account to local administrators group - new localgroup administrators [username] /add -- NEW = NET :)
Very nice , is that possible to capture a physical laptop image without deploying the base image? I meant to say can i skip part 1 (deploy image)and continue with part 2 (capturing image)?
Absolutly ;)
Hi,
Thanks for the video
At 7:18 you are saying about capturing a deployed image . We are making the reference image for deploying . Means first we create a reference image and then deploy ? .Why do we need to choose an operating system in the task sequence (7:31) If we are capturing an image ?
When I did this It installed the OS first and captured (Set OSinstall=N)
Thanks again
Hi Azu, in few words the process should be:
1.Deploy reference image.
2. Customize the image.
3. Capture the image.
Selecting Sysprep and Capture should not install operating system, you should verify your settings.
Hi,
In third step you are choosing an OS , is that refernce image ?
Thanks
Hi Azu, this is the clean image of Windows 10 that I imported into MDT.
Hi, I prepared winodows 10 iso image as shown in the video, but I couldn't add the latest win 10 to the WDS server, becuse it didn't contain boot.wim file, how can I add win 10 to the WDS ?
Did you found that which boot.wim we have to add
Trying to capture Win10 Ent v1703
What I am missing? Thanks a lot!
Edit: I used Kabul Khan's solution posted 5 months ago and now it captures the image.
In a case Sysprep & Capture Task is not capturing the image, then you need to edit ZTIUtility.vbs script in the \Scripts folder. And Look for this line:
If (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_InstallOS']") is nothing) and (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_UpgradeOS']") is nothing) then
And change it to:
If (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_InstallOS' and @disable='false']") is nothing) and (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_UpgradeOS' and @disable='false']") is nothing) then
Thank you callatianon for the valuable input. I had to edit the ZTIUtility scrip myself as well in occasions.
Thank you, works with 1803
Fantastic video Nick! At the end you logged in as .\NLBADMIN - what does the .\ signify please?
It changes you from logging into the domain to logging in with a local computer account. Didn't know you could do that till this video and I've been a server admin for 20+ years!
Hi Nick, Jim, I am happy to see people helping each other here. One of my goals. Jim we all learn things every day :)
nice howto mate! But is there any chance to customize the taskbar and the desktop design? Without giving any Product key?
Hi Sir Backe, not sure about this one. I tried customizing some of the Icons on the taskbar and after syspreping they reverted to the original state.
the answer is you must copy the Administrator Settings to Default user.. but you cant modify the taskbar especially in Win10 without activate the product. locking for solution...
Thank you for the input, Sir Backe! That is what I did with the shortcuts on the desktop, but did not think of adding anything other than that.
Hi Nick, just wanted to understand, if you have done the configuration of reference PC in Audit mode and then Captured.?
Hi Hitesh, I havent tried it to be honest. You can share your experience here.
thx for your valuable information video

Getting an error capturing my image the second time after a slight tweak it, as if when the image is generalized, you can't capture it again.
Please i need your help with solving this:
Great video but I keep getting the following errors:
Hi amermatk, most of above questions can be answered with the Rules of the MDT Share:
1. SkipLocaleSelection=YES - disable language settings.
2. SkipAdminPassword=YES and SkipBitLocker=YES
Hi Wayne, I must recommend that you sysprep the image. If you do not they will be identical and can cause several issues.
Hi,
I tried to capture the image ,it successfully captured .But at the end the master pc ended in the error
"Windows could not finish configuring the system"....
I did the capturing from an account which is local administrator but not default "Administrator"
Any ideas
Thanks
Hi Azu m, from the error message I am not able to determine what could have caused it. I suggest for you to go through the logs and see what exactly caused it.
HI Nick. Thanks for Videos. i tried all and was successfully. but how can i activate windows with OEM Licence after deploy it???
Thank you Nick!
Thank you for the support, Adam!
Hello, Nick
I met this error
Failure (5609) False: Boot drive was not found
Thankyou 🙏
So what was in the script??
Hi Nick, is this only possible with Windows 10 Enterprise? Or can the same be done with Windows 10 Pro edition?
Hi Taylor, you can do it with Windows 10 Pro as well.
Thank you, but you did not show us how you can deploy it automatically to more than one laptop
Good Job
hi Nick, thank's lot for all your video , which are most usefull for us. Is it possible to have your vbs scripts? thank you again
Where have you gone friend?!?! just discovered you. I see no update in many moons.
@27:40 after I've updated the task sequence, and attempt to update media content, I receive an error saying "OSCDIMG failed, rc = 1"
Update: There was not enough storage space where i was storing the media folder.
For others out there, don't create the boot media in the deployment share...it needs to be created somewhere else.
Do you have to sysprep if capturing from a VM?
Hi Ben, if you plan to use the image and deploy it on multiple machines I would advise to sysprep it first.
For me it just reboots and won't start shit, sysprep is not starting, and i don't get any errors.
Can this captured image be installed in different system with different hardware 😗
Yes, that's why you have to run "sysprep" before capturing the image.
Sysprep removes all the operating system configurations to the hardware you're using so it can be installed on another hardware!
tyvm brother
Many thanks for the videos, In a case Sysprep & Capture Task is not capturing the image, then you need to edit ZTIUtility.vbs script in the \Scripts folder. And Look for this line:
If (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_InstallOS']") is nothing) and (oTS.SelectSingleNode("//step[@type='BDD_UpgradeOS']") is nothing) then

after that update DeploymentShare and this should enable the option to capture image and or select path.
Thanks Kabul, your solution solved my problem!
After four days of re-watching these videos & driving myself crazy, I finally found your comment! Thank you Kabul for your help :) @nlbsolutions should seriously add this to the video description
Thanks Nick for the video and thanks Kabul for this info. Like Capt. Howdy I was going nuts until i saw this.
It took you 2-3 weeks huh It does seem like a lengthy process and never mind any driver issue you might be having depending on the make and model.
Hi Hansel, yes I had to read a lot of guides and do a bit intense testing to achieve the thing I was aiming for. That is why I decided to share with you guys, so at least someone can benefit by saving some time.
Thanks for Nic :)
Hi
Is it possible to do HP Thin Client Windows 10 LTSB images in MDT?
Also can you achieve remote office deployments in MDT?
How to do this in an unattended way?
Hi TheRealpl0x, this can be achieved with Windows Deployment Services.
Thank you for this great video. I am in the process of configuring and setting up the WDS and MDT and like your Video a lot. I am getting a few errors though and was wondering what I overlooked. Would you be able to take a look at the error log? If so, can you please provide me an email address to send it?
Hi Jimmy, apologies for the late reply. Are you still experiencing issues ?
Hello Nick, Yes, I am... Can I send you the error log ( setupact.log)? I am not sure how to overcome these errors as they are indicating the existence of an application on a profile and can not be removed.
Sysprep is running countinuously in client machine...
Win 10 Update with all its Store crap coses a mayhem for SysPrep, also if using hyper-v vm this doesnt work with Secure Boot on
Hi Von, yes this is true. Thank you for the valuable input.
i did not understand
Too much talk and less substance.
