    Another way to use the hose to lay out your area is to set it how you want it to look and then leave the hose there for a couple days. When you remove the hose, the grass underneath will give you a natural yellowed line from where the hose kept the sun from getting to the grass and you won't have the hose in you way when you start your edging.

    • @UtahTabby
      @UtahTabby 3 года назад +4

      yeah, great idea, and you won't cut up your hose in the process.

    lawn cutting will be smooth and easy too. Before cutting the rest of the lawn use the edge cutter to dig in as you illustrated. Using flour also is a great way to determine the line.

    If you don't like to use spray paint because it is hard to fix, here is what an old friend taught me. Buy one of those ketchup squirt bottles, like you see in restaurants or hot dog stands, and fill it halfway with flour. Since they have skinny tips, you can aim and draw nice lines in the grass just by squeezing. If you don't like how it turns out, and want to try again, spray the line with your hose and it's gone. Enjoy!

    So strange that your neighbor doesn’t know you have a utube channel. Neighbors just aren’t as nosy as ours were back in the ‘70’s😂😂😂

    Great job on that edging technique. Question: what type of grass do you have on your property? It looks very healthy.
