They haven't progressed at all, in fact they have gotten worse over the past few years of releases. Nothing that they have put out can top lord worms work with cryptopsy
Harry D'Kramer, in my opinion, Cryptopsy was huge when they had Lord Worm / Alex Auburn "team" on vocals. But as it has been said here, the band progressed to a new sound and they are (NOW) known/respected because of their fresh tech death approach.
Besides Lord Worm fits perfectly on his new Black Metal band _Rage Nucléaire_!

The vocals are pretty meh. Then again, it's hard to top NSV with Lord Worm on vocals. Even Mike DiSalvo is miles ahead of the current dude.
