But, to answer that question again... 1. Made no difference. It is an automatic transmission, & it happens to shift at peak points AUTOMATICally. 2. The car is so painfully slow, even if it didn't, the tenth I might gain wouldn't make any difference. This isn't a 9 second car
@@twistedinsanee Proper enthusiasts don't do that much. Some people don't seem to realize that these are just tests, not someone trying to show off an auto 160HP car.
They are SLOW! Would be cool to see what theyd do with some boost, though. May be better for boost than the Type S motor with likely lower compression(like LQ4 vs LQ9). Wonder what they auto transmission would hold....

its an easy way to blow up the transmission / burn it out.

Would've had 0 effect. Only limits shifts to 3rd gear, which would've made no difference here

Wow My company van moves faster than this and the Type s with full equipment and tools added that. Still a cool little car though.
