@@danilobarbosacarvalho3221 Não posso te responder, porque parei de utilizar o ubuntu, mas enquanto usei funcionava com algumas restrições... por exemplo eu só poderia abrir um arquivo por vez no programa, quando abria mais de um travava.

Setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run Setup again from the original source disc or download location.

No when you install msoffice with playonlinux. It will create shortcut for you

sudo dpkg --configure -a
Or just see for what package it is giving you the error
sudo apt purge package name
For me it was giving me an error for samba
So I have just typed
sudo apt purge samba

Actually I update the link from time to time but it always gets expired after some time so I cannot do anything. So you can search for ms office 2013 or 2016 over some website. Download 32 bit file. If I find anything I will update soon

Mainly excel. Remaining things have good alternatives.
You can also use calc instead of excel both are similar tools
@@allaboutlinux1484 I tried but some of the fuctions are not near as good as excel like pivot tables and other stuff. It has to mature more. Probably a lot of funding too.

I had the same issue with powerpoint and there is no proper solution for that one thing you can try reinstalling it again and I hope it will work. Otherwise you can use libre office writer

Why you are installing 64 bit file you should only install 32 bit file in case of running windows product

Install with playonlinux and see whether it is installing gecko and mono installer. Other wise you can directly run setup.exe file with winehq
I love Linux but battery consumption, fan noise, overheating and slow USB transfers keep me away. I've used over 5 distros.
It's not problem with distros it's with your processor
Because speed of transfering files do not depend upon os. I have good processor so I never faced such kind of problems.

You are right powerpoint is not working properly as msoffice is officially not available for linux
. Though word and excel are working fine. If powerpoint is not working you can use libreoffice impress as a alter native to powerpoint because there is no proper solution for that

I think you should use wps office 2019 because it is similar to msoffice 2019 and it is available for linux

You cannot install 64 bit windows product in ubuntu. You have to install 32bit

Yes it doesn't matter whether you use ubuntu mate in PC or IOT the process will work
rpi is a arm pc. wine does not work yet
You need to install ubuntu or any other supported linux for Iot then you can run wine in Rasp Pi

Bro the file that's needs to be downloaded is in iso format? Is it a issue?
Ya bro that's the issue because when you will extract this iso file directly then ubuntu will extract that as administrator so you need to extract that file with some command from the terminal.

You can try installing ms office 2019 with this but not sure about It will work or not. ms office 2016 will work with this method

This will download iso file so you need to extract it. Now issue is if you directly extract that file then it will extract that file as super user so use this command
sudo apt install p7zip-full
7z x name of the iso file.
Don't forget to extract in different folder having no contents otherwise it will extract in your default directory
