So great to see Gazza looking and coming across well. Saw him at a Q&A event several years ago and he was a sad shadow of himself. He seems light years away from that in this video. As a player for Glasgow Rangers he gave me some absolutely fantastic memories and he absolutely loved his time in Scotland. As a spurs supporter he was the best natural talent we ever had. Although I was upset when he went to Lazio, I wish Ferguson had signed him as I think he would have protected him and he would have had a longer career. I wish him the best against the struggles with addiction he is still battling.

Every cheltenham fan on the side waiting for a photo, autograph or just to shake gazzas hand and he had time for every single fan. @@brianmason8059 nobody is talking about him out of football though, it’s about him as a player. He was head and shoulders better than Charlton/Greaves etc. Gazza wasn’t a centre forward mate was he, he was a midfielder who’s job was to control the game and dominate, goals for a midfielder are secondary, therefore irrelevant.
@@NH-bz9jv Charlton was a midfielder. His assists weren't great either. He was very overrated as a player and as a man has a long list of everything from wife beating and sexual assault to racial abuse. He walked into an expensive jewellery shop a few years ago that my Neice worked in. Whilst in West Midlands on a random assault charge. And the staff had to call security Cos he was acting rude and aggressive towards the female employees. The man's a total clown. If you want to buy his "I'm a poor misunderstood addict" go for it lad. But hitting 10 goals for England abd a few assists and bursting unto tears occasionally ain't going to make me believe his excuses for acting like something from Jeremy Kyle.
