And in which way is that? You think i am a 'chav' or something who cannot hold a discussion? You assume i am going to come at you swearing and giving you grief for disagreeing with my comment? Seems you judge people too fast, my friend. Gazza was hounded by the press in UK, who bugged his phone and listened in on all his calls, left drink on his doorstep, rang doorbell and ran away so they could get a picture of him opening the door and picking them up. Along with all kinds of other disgusting things for around 15 years. They had him thinking he was crazy, as he could hear things on his phone (clicking), they blocked his fathers number, etc, etc and when he was telling family, friends and, even, his therapist they didnt believe him. They (the media) paid people to take him to the pub to get him drunk in order to get stories on him. When you have a whole field of people going after you like that, all whilst battling a difficult addiction to get out of and the people closest to you are not believing you and going on like your crazy (for years and years) then it is sure to cause some mental health issues. You think you could come out unscathed and unaffected? Sure, you can say it was ultimately his own choice to take said alcohol and such. But, to lay no blame on the industry that hounded him is simply denying it happened and had an effect on him.
I was at that game and left it wondering what all the fuss was about this young bloke Gasgoine. I sort of understand why he was quiet that day now. Gazza never once let the England team down on the pitch. One of the best ever in the white shirt. Great stories from these two.
Look Gerrard was awesome but gazza was something different...almost a midfield version of maradona...glide past people at one pace just so powerful and his vision was unreal...that's the true art of the master footballer...to read the game to know where everyone is on the pitch...at his best he was poetry in motion... then the 91 cup final happened and he was never quite the same player
A lot of people saying they can't understand Gazza.... He's perfectly clear to me, mind you I'm from Sunderland. Great player and a great discussion. 👍

A pair of ledges!!! Characters, both, for sure!!.. As for the football, we all know about Gazza's amazing abilities, but Vinnie Jones, probably because of his 'crazy Gang' days, was actually very underated as a footballer, I felt.

@@Hughbens that’s good. Just be careful. It might not have been a problem in the past and it might not be a problem now but it can always develop into a problem. Stay safe. 👍👍
Completely irrelevant. Vinnie Jones is not a legend of England nor is he English. Might as well say he’s a legend of USA considering he’s lived out there for past 10 plus years
This would be an automatic 10 game ban nowadays with all sorts of twitter outrage and a whole media circus surrounding it. Vinnie Jones would have to come out and apologise while Gazza would be out for three games with a bruised ball.
Gazza might have forestalled his demons and played out a full career if the technology which routinely fixes cruciate ligament injuries had been conceived a year or so earlier.
That is why sport is going down the shitter. Anything that is not PC or in the health and safety cretins book of self-righteous wisdom get's banned. People should start their own leagues with old school rules.

When did Vinnie turn into Pete Postlewaite
when did Gazza turn into a Geordie Paul o'grady
Thank you. That was driving me mad.
when you missed your appointment at the eye doctor
America and age does to yah, lol, he's wise pardon the pun
JonathanAnon same here.
What a legend Vinnie is giving good advice from somebody who’s been there, and recognising the disease and offering support
So true
Him and gerrard most talented England players ever both unreal
Scholes
Paul Scholes is number 1 for sure
Look Gerrard was awesome but gazza was something different...almost a midfield version of maradona...glide past people at one pace just so powerful and his vision was unreal...that's the true art of the master footballer...to read the game to know where everyone is on the pitch...at his best he was poetry in motion... then the 91 cup final happened and he was never quite the same player
A lot of people saying they can't understand Gazza.... He's perfectly clear to me, mind you I'm from Sunderland. Great player and a great discussion. 👍
Imagine Gazza at Man Utd with the class of 92
didint need him man u were incredible...
@The Mac ur opinion mate. well who wud u ov droped 4 gazza to play
@The Mac so u wud drop keano mate. he wud not av had the balance in the squad like they had.my opinion tho buddy
Keane would end up killing him !
@The Mac prob would have been robbo , ince, Paul Parker, Clayton blackmore or Mcclair
Love Gazza but Vinnie is a hero as he played for my team Leeds. Amazing how much Vinnie's affection and passion for Leeds is still.
I enjoyed every minute thanks lads
5 yrs later . This is so underrated...2 good mates ...gazza doing good now. Vinny has heart a gold --- folk realise now the media can ruin people -2working class lads .respect 🤝
you can tell Vinnie has alot of love for paul, that shot of Vinny grabbing his balls is about as iconic a photo as the female tennis player scratching her arse
kiely 456 I love this comment, brilliant fairplay to you 😂😂😂😂
2 legend's. 1 of the most skilled players ever to Grace the football pitch and the other put the fear of God into most players. Great to see Gazza in great form.
Used to think Vinnie was just a thug but hats off to him he has done amazing
Amazing interview.. What a nice guy Vinny Jones Is... Heart of Gold..
2 British football legends Vinny Jones and Paul Gascoigne both a great credit to our game. They don’t make them like these two heroes anymore. ⚽️👍❤️🇬🇧
Wife beater extrordinaire was he not..............bully and a wanker...............legend my arse
Heroes? You don`t know the meaning of the word sadly.
BABBA O'REILLY let me guess your a Celtic fan? 😣
Whatever gave that away john, was it your knowledge of the bufoon that was and still is gascoigne......his talent for fitbaw was never in question here m8,but his hatred for catholics and women is.......end of..................erin go bragh
BABBA O'REILLY Celtic’s greatest player of all time Jimmy Johnstone was also a alcoholic wife beater, and your newest celebrity fan Stan Collymore is a woman beater too.
A pair of ledges!!! Characters, both, for sure!!.. As for the football, we all know about Gazza's amazing abilities, but Vinnie Jones, probably because of his 'crazy Gang' days, was actually very underated as a footballer, I felt.
Really interesting listening to these two. I'd love to see more like this.
The video editing could be better. I'd like to hear the interviewer questions. I cut from one story to another.
On the whole a good vid
I have so much respect for Gazza. I wish them both all the best.
"I’ll just pull the corner, but don’t worry, big guy, I’ll be back! "
Must have been impossible to understand gazza when he was slurring drunk. Legend
Lovely blokes, talking about great old times, I'm probably an alcoholic and liked the advice vinnie gave
Good luck mate, I took 400 days off, and now seem to be able to have one or two glasses of red once a week or fortnight. But i do not crave it at all. Do it to be social with the boys. A long break to find yourself without the crutch is great, defo over 6 months. I did one year because it was my target.
@@Hughbens that’s good. Just be careful. It might not have been a problem in the past and it might not be a problem now but it can always develop into a problem. Stay safe. 👍👍
Wish you well mate.
"Drinking is a young mans sport"
Couldn't agree more with you Vinnie!
Well done lads .those where the days real men"not like the tosses to day Best wishes to you"both"
Just love it man respect to them both..legends
I wish them both well 2 legends of England
Vinnie was not a legend of the game. All he's famous for is grabbing Gazza's balls.
Vinnie's Welsh, kind of.
Apart from the fact “Jones” played for wales
I said England NOT English legends.
Gazza played for lazio it didn't make him Italian
Completely irrelevant. Vinnie Jones is not a legend of England nor is he English. Might as well say he’s a legend of USA considering he’s lived out there for past 10 plus years
Our gazza what a legend truly!
we had the best years lads today nothing..there are no more heros
Lovely interview both legends of the game grew up spent my teenage years watching them play. I was a Dalglish and Ian rush Liverpool guy. 😁
Old time carpentry
Films have dried up.
Two great guys who are genuine blokes who you'd love to have as a mate
Don’t even like football but these 2 are a class act ❤
I think that supporting a small local club where you get o know the players is great way to learn to learn to love the game and make friends for life
Great video of two legends. Thank you for uploading it
Vinnie: I’m doing this. I’m doing that. Anyone want some flooring.
EXCELLENT VINNIE HAS GIVEN BRILLIANT ADVICE HE WILL FOR SURE SAVED MANY LIVES .WITH HIS STORY SUPERB
LOVE GAZZA LOVE VINNIE THE GRUESOME TWOSOME ,,
Enjoyed this although wish it had subtitles for Gazza!!
I don't wanna play 😂😂😂😂 quality. Such good players in their own respective ways. A glorious technical passionate genius...and a tough as boots tank old British defender.
With all the demons Gazza had to battle his entire life, it´s amazing how good he became
This is a beautiful thing. Absolute gold.
Fantastic interview. Could listen to them for hours.
Vinny what a legend you are!
I didnt reliase he really tired to help him that much ...
I suppose you look after your own 💙💙💙much love
Two legends in my eyes
lovely to see Vinny taking care of his friend you can see how genuine Vinnie's love for Gazza really is
Gaza we love you, I’m battling with it too.
Same..its horrible isn't it, I was doing really well then slipped up. I hate it 😪
@@rustydumper hope you hang in there buddy. Stay strong!
It's a miracle Paul is around today.
I went to school with Vinnie (or Vince as we called him back then), and like he admits, he wasn't the best player in our school team, but he had the drive and passion that others lacked, and he made the best of his ability.
AJ?
Dollis junior?
Such amazing stories from two legends. Thanks, chaps!!
