Had a brass dragonborn cleric of Bahumut. The group ran into a trio of kobolds (Moe, Larry and Curley) that decided the dragonborn was their messiah and followed him around as his (unwanted) vessels.
I made a kobold forge cleric who is a priest of Gruaghlothor the Irondragon god and god of dragon slaying (Dragon slayer swords have his face on the guard) and his goal is to free kobolds from their dragon oppressors by making weapons like ballistas to shoot down chromatic dragons.
Trying to make a kobold rogue that multiclassed into battle smith. Riding the steel defender keeps the pack tactics active along with the spell faerie fire to counter act sunlight. This way I get sneak attack every round no matter what. The steel defender resembles a drake and sprouts wings when fly is cast on it. Any suggestions on a name?
Lol im terrible with names xD But if I had to give a suggestion i lke the name Scraps, or maybe name him after a metal element like Copper, or Knick Knack
Love watching your process! Where did you read about the lycanthropy bit for Kobolds? I’ve got Volo’s Guide and don’t recall seeing it there, and I’d love to incorporate that into our game.
Additionally, in Volo’s, Kobolds with more special draconic powers like wings are often shunned because they’re jealous of their powers. I wonder how to balance these two.

Perhaps it’s the video game addict in me, but when I saw the “Eat Me!” quest hook my immediate instinct was to recruit the kobold to the party 😂
Last time I ran into kobolds they turned out to be rather incompetent vampire spawn. It was terrifying but also hilarious.
2 of my favorites were Pelius the Blue (Kobold Paladin fanboy of our main hero campaign group, The Wardens of Lexington) and Trigger the alchemist
