If you saw James Vowles pop up randomly in other segments in the past year, you'll know he actually has nothing to say.

that Mercedes f1 team from the 2013 to 2018 ish era was like galactico era, Andy cowell, head of engine at HPP, known for 20+ years of making solid engines. Eric blandin, coming from redbull during their dominant era, james allison, creating over 5 title winning cars, James Vowles, Loic Serra elite level suspension engineer, you could put Adrian Newey in that team and i don't think it would be much better if any it was that good

Nico was primarily at fault. He could never battle cleanly. Pushing Lewis and Fernando off at Bahrain was a prime example.
Perhaps he knew he wasn't a great or naturally gifted and that's why he tried whatever he could to prevent people passing him

Lovely how British media is always so arrogant and so blatantly stupid. “When Lewis and Nico crashed into each other”.
It’s Lewis who crashed into Nico. When you are behind, and you rear end someone, you didn’t crashed into each other. But

How do you come to that conclusion when you actually watch lap 1? Lewis went for the move well before the corner and Nico pushed him onto the grass, as soon as lewis' tyre makes contact with grass he spins, hitting Nico in the process- Niki Lauda also said Nico has to hold the majority of the blame for the incident so how are you coming to the conclusion that it was Lewis' fault?

He’s drawing from his time with Michael at Mercedes,,When Michael was gone from the sport for 4 years and was in his forties..not to mention those Mercedes cars were certainly not the Hybrid era Merc… You cant take off a sport that evolves as much F1 does in four years without losing something.. go watch Schumacher in the Benetton years or the early 2000s and tell me who you think is better,, and btw it is extremely difficult to compare eras but still…

exactly, 1, vowles is british 2 he worked with 2 drivers at 2 vastly different stages of their career. Im definately no schumacher fan but to say michaels biggest strength as a driver was to be buddies with the team and send his wife flowers is a bit of a bs take. Anyone who remembers schumi in his dominating years and the famous telemetry comparison between himself and Herbert at benneton where the data showed michael could carry more speed because of his innate ability to rotate the car mid corner
Age and the evolution of F1 cars to be bigger heavier and more efficient aero hampered these qualities which Vowles never saw
