Sounds good! I have a 1974 honda XL 125 and it sounds just like that without the exhaust pipe on...like an angry bubble machine

really looking forward to this and learning from you. just bought a '76 cb125s last thursday. it's in running condition though it needs oil and carb maintenance. front brake needs replacement. needs some love but it's not a completely daunting project for my first bike. electrical needs work and looks like a half done 12v conversion

Nice! I’m finding the biggest obstacle is the front brakes. They are a cable operated disc and parts are hard to find. I’m swapping out the front forks anyway so am changing the brakes to drum. Super simple bike, great to learn on.

@@Beachmangarage yeah. I've seen the same cable disc brakes on the cb200 and the fl250 ATV rear brake. I've seen some hydraulic brakes with the same mount so I'm considering doing that later.
I'd like to see what you do for 12v conversion. i know the battery i have is 12v but I'm not sure about the regulator. bike starts but none of the lights work. switching to high beams kills the bike

Also if you find a 12 volt conversion please let us know the part numbers for it. I've been looking for one for a few years now

You sure that black plug isnt for a 2 terminal signal relay?

once I uncoiled it, it was pretty clear that someone added it for a new battery, I think it might’ve been a 12v conversion.
