Great video, very informative and instructional, thank you for sharing. I inherited a 1991 Nissan D21 from my father-in-law, I am trying to get it back into tip top shape as a farm truck.
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my login password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@Amir Xzavier Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I set my truck on the top center with a timing light on the gun. I set it at 10 and then on the pulley where the timing marks are at. I set it on zero but my truck did not have very much power setting it on zero so I set it at 10° on the pulley I’m wondering because when I install the new distributor I had to reverse the order the firing order so I’m not sure if I threw it off but the truck runs a lot better at 10°
I am trying to fix one, it will not rev pass 3000 rpm and the gas pum is new the sprak plug and wire and cap is new, so i put the ecu on a next pickup on it is ok i try a AFM on it still not going pass 3000rpm and it is missfiring i check the tps and distributor and AFM wire to the ecu and they are ok i have plug off the coolant sensro still not fix, can someone help me.
could you in theory set the pulley at 10 degrees then adjust the distributor so the marks on the distributor and the rotor line up? obviously then check it with a timing light after

Need a video of the vacuum lines
Thanks for the video very helpful
So from #1 TDC, turning crank 180 degrees puts the 3rd cylinder at TDC? And so on…1342
Wish I had watched this video before I started... Would've saved me a headache.
Wrong! Its -5. 0. 5. 10. 15. 20. Im looking at the factory service manual right now.
no he was right he just didnt say -5. he just started at TDC
So -5 is the tdc? I thought it was 0

How can I find TDC if my distributor is not in place
if your timing hasnt been removed, both key slots in the cam and crank gears will point directly up. I think you can see that in this video here: 6:08
