Love ny old d21 naps z motor. I canned the 8 plug distributor. 510 4 plug unit. Swap dizzy drive for L24-28 series . Swap crank gear. I run a weber but a Rochester 2bbl will almost bolt on . Dremel the mounting holes.
Can I do this job without redoing the timing? Like if I jam the cam gears can I slip the old sprockets off, slip the new ones on as long as nothing moves?
@@MajorWeakness Thank you very kindly. I'm in winter springs and just bought a '97 hardbody that I'm pretty sure needs a timing chain, but it's 4x4 that requires dropping the front diff and lifting the engine. I feel like while I'm in there I may want to go the distance and do a full rebuild, but I'm a complete novice and have no idea who to go to for boring the cylinders or decking the block. I'll give them a ring, thank you again.

Only Florida men wear flip flops while doing beefy engine repairs.
That's how we roll in FL while hurricanes hit
Flip flops are groovy!
Florida man here and flip flops what? Shit I go bare footed. I would never use my Sunday church shoes 😅😅
People in india do the same
Nice one mate 👍 😂
Thanks!
Don't forget the header!
Exhaust manifold stock
I'm sure those flip flops are OSHA approved ...
Only in FL
