Hey @OfficeHanchoBoxing, I’m a huge fan of your videos, and I’ve been dying for you to make a video on the story of the Eguchi brothers. The two brothers ended up having to fight each other for the vacant Japanese championship. The stories interesting enough and they ended up putting on an amazing fight. It truly is a fight lost to time. Thank you for your hard work with your videos. Have a good day sir
That someone calling for Rosado’s right hand is no one else but the great Bernard Hopkins. Gotta give props Lacedout for pointing it out on the highlights video.
@@newbornassassin7291 except when he was sticking those shots to the body… how many times have we seen fighters have bad starts and end up dominating? Beks a mighty puncher, but he’s very one dimensional and keeps his hands too low
@@ac21cody8 his last few fights he has been keeping his hands up and hes picking his shots more carefully now hes more patient . He gained alot from that loss he will beat him easy . I've had one of the worst days in a long time today and I come home and see this awesome video. Thank you for always providing quality content. Today it really mattered to someone.
love the respect from the Japanese fighters for tee rematch, former champ just says, "It would be a hell of a story if I win it again." and current champ say's "Ight, bet."
There's a couple good documentaries on the program, Prison Fight and Prison Fighters: 5 Rounds to Freedom. I'd recommend anyone interested in learning more check them out.
I've met Gave Rosado and let me tell you all; he's a great guy. Bought me lunch and we talked boxing. Not just about his fights and career either, he noticed really quickly that I knew a lot about boxing history so we almost exclusively conversed about legendary fights and fighters and all that. What a good guy he is!
The only thing that upsets me about all of RUclips (not the stupidity, not the drama, or all of the absolute worthless and valueless content) is the shameful idea that Office Hancho doesn't have a much higher subscriber number. I believe in giving credit where credit is due and I can say with confidence that this is by far the best boxing content to grace us. Us boxing fanatics with our knuckle dragging simple minds.
As far as the Internet is concerned, you are my only source for fights and boxers in the lighter weight classes. It seems like in the US, nobody cares about the Asian fighters or the lighter classes. In my opinion, these fights are way more exciting and engaging than some of the heavier classes because these guys throw zillions of punches each round. I particularly like the straw weight class, So please feature them more? By the way, a lot of people think I’m strange because I’m a girl who loves boxing. I’ve loved the sport since I was young. One on one and no BS.
Thank you so much OfficeHanchoBoxing for continuing to make boxing content despite the hiccups, I know some people have some small gripes here and there but there are not too many boxing content channels that shine a spotlight on non western boxers and western boxers fairly.
Really appreciate the effort put into these, there are so many names/divisions in boxing that it’s hard to get into, but videos like this make it easier
I pray for the success of this beautiful channel so that people can be inspired to be more in life than just a casual. Thank you so much hancho if only you knew man .... Youre videos have saved a life.
Thankyou for this video man, I was in a bad place today with some pain and just needed to focus on something else, this video helped me more than you could know today. Keep up the great work !
Some fighters ending up losing their momentum and going downhill after losing their 0. I personally think is good thing to lose the 0 just before you enter the big shows, you might lose some popularity but it mentally corrects you thinking is not a big deal and it eases off the pressure of maintaining the 0
The thing is that in these days, most fighters are doing their best to protect their 0 defeats as a way to rank, as well as a way to establish themselves as a safe bet and undefeatable. Canelo is an example. How many great fights were missed during his pass through middleweight? Demetrius Andrade, Charlo. Another example is his denial from giving Lara a rematch. Both of them were evenly matched. Another thing is those clauses for weight cutting. He is just one of many examples. I think the reason for this kind of behavior is due to not break the imagine of being an unbeatable champion in front of the public, as the Examplar of success, and that sells for promotions. But it also takes away the spirit of the sport, the sweet science that boxing is. Is shame because there are so many good fighters that never bloom because they are evaded by everyone else, while those who lose are shitted by stupid casuals. A boxer cannot bloom if they are not fighting a challenge.
yeah, that's NOT a joke: in Thai prisons, you can not only fight your way out of anything less than a life sentence, but furthermore, anyone prisoner going that route gets more food & access to exercise equipment (weights)
Benavidez, Charlo, Andrade, and Beterbiev all kept their 0' since Canelo didn't want to fight them, lol. Scared. Now he's fighting a 40-year-old who no one asked for instead at a higher weight 👎💩🍒🗑🤢.
I thiught before Kownacki vs Helenius that "If Kownacki quickly beat Washington and after this Washington beat Helenius that must be easy job for Kownacki". That fight was a biggest boxing lesson for me.
THANK YOU for highlighting, correct me if I’m wrong, Asian boxers below heavyweight class. Reminds me of how Mexican boxers (me in my younger years) below heavyweight were just overlooked and now are highlights. That energy was always missing.
He has been evading people who could have gave him trouble to the point of defeat during his pass in middleweight and super middleweight, so no wonder now he settles for Golovkin who is in his exit, and tries to sell it as this big battle. The best should always fight agaist the best. Otherwise, you become too comfortable and you begin to stagnate and get conditioned to winning always, which weakens your character.
The point here is that, too many undefeated in the top ranks is the result of the "dangerous" evading each other, this is the easiest conclusion to make when seeing the Top Ranks. Now, if you take your time in researching what the fighters say, you can guess who is actually evading who. Regardless of it, one should always advocate for the 0 defeats to fight each other.
