I'm sure I just missed it, I was wondering what y'all are doing at the bottom of the walls where the blocks are? More blocks to fill in it? I know you mentioned not wanting cat in your plants. Just curious. The greenhouse looks awesome. It's all coming together quickly now. I'm excited for y'all.

Do yourself and the trees a big favor, add activated charcoal (biochar) in the holes before you plant. And in a couple of years, as the trees grow, use a metal pipe (2" diameter) to put holes around the tree on the outer edges of their dripline and add activated biochar there. this will increase the nutrient uptake by the tree roots and produce a healthy, strong tree... this idea works well with other fruits trees and bushes too.....

Keep in mind guys you don't need that much spacing between your fruit trees if you don't want. You can easily control the size of all your trees by pruning and staking. Also look at your local conservation department. They will likely sell all native tree saplings and plants for very cheap. 10$ for 10 saplings in missouri.

I give your nylon window screen about 2 seconds durability when it comes to animals.
After we had replaced all our screens with vinyl ones it took our cats no time at all to shred them.
I watched one cat jump up chasing a fly and it was reminiscent of pirate movies where the guy jumps out, stabs the sail with a knife and slides down.

Sam, at the 5:32 mark the door jams/ jumps on the sliding rail that holds it. It does it again whenever you slide the door throughout the vlog. Perhaps this part of the rail needs a look at it or a screw in to stop this issue? Also, I would recommend planting the Pecans along your driveway after the home is moved. This will shade your drive in the summer, give you a road to collect the nuts from and partially hide your home from the road.

If you don't get a chance to plant..... I hold trees and shrubs in kiddie pools filled with water over the top of the planting buckets weep holes. You can make a bigger holding facility by wrapping black plastic over "4x4"'s set in a rectangle on the ground.

Are you planning to on moving/ or adding the rain catchment system. If so instead of just gravity feeding out the bottom. Put a 12 pump in with 12 volt deep cycle battery like one for a kayak and a solar panel for it. That way you would have same pressure throughout the barrels

when my mama and grandpa would plant fruit trees they would take a length of old water hose and bury one end by the roots coming up out of the ground, so the newly planted trees could be watered by pouring water directly into the hose delivering water directly to the roots, save on water, it having to filter down the other way, uses so much more water, grandpa would leave the hose in the ground until the tree was doing well, living in arkansas it gets really dry in the summer, so like I said it saved on water, after 2 summers he would pull the hose out..think about it, a good way of watering without sogging up the top soil, and basically using so much water....

If you're inundated with feral cats, see if there is a Trap Nueter Return (TNR) program in or near your area; often spay and nuetering is free to very low cost. Or an organization or vet which will work with you. Cats can over populate, the colonies become sick, and then some of those illnesses can affect other critters too. Once you begin to TNR, it takes 2 to 5 years to see significant reductions in the overall population. While not ideal, fixing the females (or fixing them first of course) and doing the initial after care for the neighbors works as needed too. If you figure that a female can have thier first heat at 4 to 6 months, 60 some days of gestation, and 3 to 4 litters per year on a geometrical basis - an excess number of cats can be almost as bad as an excess number of rats.
