There's a movie where someone is stuck in a cave 127 Hours.
@@dericjames2018 man in cave by internet historian? 😂
@@hundkebab2433 It's actually based on a true story and the person made out alive. It came out 2010 staring James Franco.
I can’t imagine the horror John went through. A terrible way to go.
Yeah poor guy
That's why it's always important to analyze every situation before diving in this is a travesty
But at least having his brohter there to go get help must have been a comfort. A hope. And knowing the rescuers are there trying to help. Imagine being alone and getting stuck and knowing you are going to die in several days from lack of water. And you can't do a thing about it but wait in the dark. YIKES!
RIP John 🙏 this is why I don't go in caves and reminds me of the movie 127 Hours.
I mean…..trying to shove yourself through a tiny hole in some rocks….it’s not like he had no idea what could happen.
The Nutty Putty Cave incident has got to be one of the most horrifying deaths I’ve ever heard about. Alone, upside down, completely constrained, can barely breathe, pitch black darkness, deep under ground with little to no hope of rescue. He quite literally crawled into his own grave and had plenty of time to think about it. Lord have mercy on his soul.
so true :( it also plagues my mind how his body is still in there, and they sealed it shut. he’s forever trapped.. i hope his spirit could move on to a better place.
No, he was in agonizing pain for three days then fired upside down. Go LDS! THEY EVEN LEFT HIM IN THERE. HOW DISRESPECTFUL.
I’m very good friends with his son and it is so sad because his wife was pregnant with him before his father died. He was named after his father when he was born. He never got to see his son😢
scares me that that guy was like 20 miles away from me while i was just being a kid
The story of John is so tragic and horrifying. To think that he died like that, trapped, helpless and wanting to be freed just makes it even more horrifying along with the fact that his body will be down there forever.

No matter how many times I hear the Nutty Putty cave story, it never fails to give me pure anxiety and fear. It never stops being horrifying.
It's one of the worst ways to go out for sure, face down some unknown, tight crevice in a cave very far down with no hope of rescue. I get terrified just getting my finger stuck, I would instantly panic if I was in his situation.
It's hard not to panic just thinking about it
Then you're forever known as the guy who died in, uh, "Nutty Putty Cave".
I started to watch this video yesterday and it was my first time ever hearing this story. In the missing 411 stories, the victims are almost always missing they're shoes. That first story really gave me the chills.
Poor Kenny. It made me cry to hear he was pretty much bullied into returning back to that cave. There are so many theories surrounding his disappearance. Some say he’s still alive living somewhere else under another name, others say he committed suicide. All of it is sad though.
he is in a better place now 😢
He deserved it
Kenny was not killed by the government and no kidnapping occurred. Kenny was under-prepared for his exploration into the cave. He had little more than a flashlight, a camera and a gun.
His curiosity made him go too far into the cave and he was driven deeper and deeper. He eventually ended up lost and couldn't find his way back out, and unfortunately he never did. I couldn't imagine his fear and despair. It's a sad story, but he was a very carefree personality that didn't take the necessary precautions and he paid a heavy price.
@@gunmettle8292 damage control
@@deloreandmc88 Realistically from a Human perspective, the government is made up of professional folk that are naturally empathic enough to a fellow Human not to do crazy shit to some dude who accidentally happened upon a cave nearby their base.
The government wouldn't just leave their property to be something so easily stumbled upon like that either. I would expect some gamer in his 30s who'd jump into the persona of some CoD soldier to be FAR more likely to pull shit like that rather than an actual professional individual with Human empathy.
Serious soldiers in the army need to train their minds to be capable of killing a Human to perform their role and duty, and it is STILL such an incredibly difficult thing for them to go through/do and they still suffer the horrific traumas of it despite psychological training. You can't just turn that off. They'd be far more likely to lead the guy away without harm and these conspiracy theories are ridiculous.

I use to think drowning or being burned alive would be the worst way to go. Then you hear being stuck in a cave upside down with no mobility slowly dying over a course of hours. Screw that!

The shoe pile one is really difficult to not entertain the possibility of whatever is abducting people in the woods from missing 411 because in nearly all cases, the shoes are removed and rarely ever found again, and when a body or a living victim eventually shows up there's a high 90% chance the shoes will be missing. That cave could be the entrance to wherever the missing 411 phenomenon lives. I can't help drawing that connection it's too creepy and all too possible.
Heckin spooked now, but that doesn't explain why all the shows are from the 80's. If I remember right the 411 stories are from the 90's and 2000's? But I could be wrong

John had to be so incredibly scared and in unimaginable pain. I wouldnt wish the way he passed on anybody. After hours and hours of hope then learning people are trying to get him out must have been the best feeling, only to have every attempt fail.
If I remember correctly too, the pulley system for John’s story was actually very close to saving John. I believe they could even see his head at one point as they were pulling him out, but when the system snapped it actually knocked out one of the rescuers. Furthermore, it put John deeper into the hole, making it an unfortunate lost cause. What a tragic story.
But was that pulley system failing something normal or did a rescuer fuck up?
@@Holland4evahh the stone arch above john with the pulley directly connected to him crumbled
@@Holland4evahh In this scenario, I wouldn’t blame the rescue team at all. They were in a circumstance that most of them probably had never been in. Unfortunately, if I remember correctly, the pulley system failed due to it not being secure, which was in part due to the rock not being suitable. Who to blame? I would say, considering the circumstances and how incredibly difficult it was to even get to that point, that it just falls on an unfortunate situation and circumstance. I feel like the rescuers did literally everything they could, but it was just not a good scenario and this malfunction did not help at all, it made it worse.
It didn't knock anyone out. The pulley system just broke
@@Holland4evahh wtf is the difference!?
What makes John's story worse is that Nutty Putty was actually closed for a while due to being considered dangerous (for reasons like this; John's not the only person to have gotten stuck in there, though other people were successfully rescued). The temporary closure was in 2006, and it had only just been reopened to the public in May of 2009, just six months before John's death. I attended school in the area prior to the first closure, and remember acquaintances inviting some friends and I to go explore the cave. I've got severe claustrophobia, so it was a no-brainer for me to refuse, and I don't think anyone else I knew went.
I just learned TODAY about the Nutty Putty having only reopened a few months before the tragedy.
I respect people's rights to enjoy hobbies, but this is one I will NEVER understand. I'm so claustrophobic, airplane bathrooms are a challenge. Spelunking and/or caving? No thank you!!
I heard this
I love caving but you've got to know your limits as many passages don't fit big body types and navigation is key

He never had a chance from there. 😔
"This Video WIll Make you Hate Caves". Joke's on you, I'm ALREADY deathly afraid of caves.
I always thought about how terrifying John's last hours of life were. Just the false hope that you'll eventually be rescued, only to realize at a certain point that there's nothing anyone can do. Truly one of the worst ways to go

@@Kometheus Oh, it CAN happen to you. Not in a cave, though. But in a collapsed building.
It has always baffled me that in mapped caves, no one installs signs telling people where the named areas are. Like with John. The reason they names that part of the cave "The Birth Canal" is because it's so narrow and when you get to the other side that opens up it looks like you're being "birthed" from the rocks. I remember hearing about John's accident when I was in like 9th grade, and I live in Utah. My older sister was taking a field trip to Timpanogos Cave and I was TERRIFIED this was going to happen to her, despite the two places being totally different and on opposite sides of Utah Lake.

I have been following Kenny Veach's disappearance for a couple of years. Where he went missing is some of the most dangerous and inhospitable areas in the country. Kenny was an avid hiker and caver and knew that area very well. There have been dozens of people that have gone into that area looking for Kenny. Most of the people that have ventured in to that area looking for Kenny are high qualified hikers and cavers, but it's usually just one or two people with minimal supplies, and not bringing enough equipment, food , and water to do a serious search. If everyone interested in solving Kenny's disappearance got together and pooled their resources and set up a couple of basecamps where groups of people could stay overnight you could do a much more serious search of the area. It seems very strange that his cell phone was found at the entrance to a mineshaft, but the minesshaft was thoroughly searched and no signs of Kenny. It's almost as if someone left the cellphone there to throw off any searchers.
Plus the M cave was seemingly found and sealed
I recall that Kenny's wife had spoken whether it was a video or to the media, I don't remember exactly where, you can probably find the info if you look it up. But she had claimed that Kenny was actually depressed and suicidal and she believes that's what happened to him and that it had nothing to do with the "M" cave.
He committed suicide most likely. His girlfriend has spoken and has given many details and evidence baking that up.
I can't imagine the helplessness and anxiety John must have gone through. Just looking at those pictures made me so uncomfortable and anxious. And to know that his body still remains there is soo heartbreaking.

She told me she dove and swam back in the underground lake. She said there was a wooden boat sunken on the bottom. She went further back and swam into a room with air...all I know

Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time.
Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).
Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.
(19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad)..

@@bestopinion9257Good for her, at least she found a new happiness after that loss
The rescuers didn't fail -- it was impossible to get him out.
John's story is my worst nightmare. It's sad but at least John may have saved others lives when they had to seal the cave.
@@dwayneroberts6616 the moral of that story; if you can’t fit inside of a small space, don’t force yourself in. Especially if you’re over 6 feet tall and 200+ pounds
The stories of both John Edward Jones and Kenny Veach are so tragic! They both did not deserve their own ends! I’m praying for both families and all of their friends.
Don’t fuck around if you don’t wanna find out. Dude shoved his body in a hole that he wasn’t sure what it led to. So stupid.
It’s always a great day when Mr.Nightmare posts. I can’t wait for the Christmas horror stories to come
I'm not afraid of tight spaces and have gone caving before, but getting stuck and unable to move? HELL NO. John's story is absolutely horrifying and tragic.
John's story makes me physically sick. What a terrible way to die. RIP John. Explore beautiful caves safely with guides is the moto of the story. 😔
Staying the fuck out of them is the moral of the story
Just heart wrenching. Top 3 biggest fears attacked in one moment. May his soul rest.
I'm claustrophobic so this was true horror for me. I always thought John's story was equally horrifying and tragic, I fully expected his story to be here, but I never thought I'd want to cry getting it narrated like this. He did not deserve that at all. After all these years, I hope his family is doing fine.
I remember a guy named exploring with Josh found a little girl one time in a cave. She was lost and he luckily found her
Nightmare has this certain style in his delivery. The narration is so simple yet so intriguing. He edits his work so that it's to the point and most every word has its place to complete the sentence perfectly.
Amazing content. Stellar delivery.
It's not creepy, it's mysterious, interesting and thought provoking.
Well done Sir Nightmare. A true OG and one of the GOAT.
I feel like he's gotten a little relaxed these days. Especially listening to the older stuff, I felt like there were more sound effects, and the music played a bigger part than just being background noise. I still love his current uploads, I just prefer the early stuff.
@@JHMBB2 I definitely hear you. He did like a 20 minute Vegas kidnapping story years ago that I liked a lot
🤣
Learning about the case of John Jones and what happened to him in Nutty Cave was enough to turn me off going anywhere near such a place
1:41 idk, we had a fox in our village once that kept stealing shoes left outside of people's houses. The funny part was it kept only taking the left shoes. Put simply, yeah that video is strange but not impossible for an animal to do. i still would want more info, though. lol
John's story genuinely made me really sad.
I just watched the movie, the final descent and I cried during the entire movie
This brought back a very old memory for me. My grandparents bought a small farm to retire on in Missouri. They knew there were supposed to be some caves on the property but didn't know exactly where since there were many wooded acres with no real landmarks or features. Anyways fast forward a few years and we find a cave entry over Thanksgiving. We explored it a bit but we're too scared to go deep, but my aunt had a boyfriend who had a bit of experience and he went in with some rope and a flashlight. I never saw inside the chamber he went to but he brought out this old lantern, knife, and said there were boards with nails thru them on the ground, like traps for people to step on. I always wondered what the story was with that, like did some dude hide out in there and set those traps for people to step on if they came after him? That property has since been sold to someone else I wonder if they even know it's there
Probably an old bootlegging operation.
It was John Rambo's hideout.
I grew up near the nutty putty cave. My dad even attended a church youth group activity through the caves. It was very popular. I remembered when John died. The whole community mourned.
I was watching this and it just disappeared and reappeared 😂
Me too. What the heck
It went to private and then came back. Maybe some little changes due to copyrights?
@@quadlex19 no it’s the video quality glitch
John didn’t deserve what he got. Imagine being trapped in the tightest place you’ve ever been in, hearing the people coming to rescue you fail, and ultimately being abandoned in there to die because it was impossible to get him out.
From my understanding, when the pulley system gave out and John fell further down, he wasn’t responsive after that. Probably passed out and never woke back up. They pronounced him dead some time after that
the creepy thing is if they couldn't even recover his dead body, how did they know he was dead? Maybe he was passed out and they just abandoned him there thinking he was dead
@@egg-iu3fe they had paramedics take his pulse via his leg to confirm his death and for days afterwards they continued trying to remove his body, they didn’t just presume he was dead and immediately leave him. Short of tearing the cave apart or cutting his body into pieces (tho they did consider the latter iirc) they tried everything possible to get him out even after his death
@@danevertt3210 From my understanding, John was alive after the failed attempt and asked if his resquer is all right. Most likely he waited the procedure to repeat and passed out.
Never heard of a Sea Dog?
The Nutty Putty story made literally sick to my stomach with anxiety,I was shaking with fear. My biggest fear is to get trapped in a place like that, pinned down, unable to move, closed in,That to me would be the absolute worst way to die.
Love the content man. I'm an avid caver in Utah and I explore mines as well as caves though I tend to stick to caves. As tragic as some story's of caving are there are hundreds more of successful trips. It's good to be reminded of the danger but it shouldn't stop you from exploring. Just follow the rules and understand your personal limits as well as cave with safe people.
My personal limits: if I can't lift it up I'm not going underneath it.
utah native here too, lots of crazy places to explore here to be sure
We good bro! I'll stay on the surface!
Hell nah
Your comment made me feel so much better regarding this video
John Edwards story will forever give me chills
Sorry but I have to say, it is irresponsible to do these risky things when you have a wife and a child
As long as you realize that John, Josh & the others there had been exploring the Nutty Putty cave since they were young children, then you are entitled to your unique opinion.
They could be considered almost masters of this specific cave. The issue is that time had passed and a common mistake due to getting comfortable with their abilities that many people experience through all forms of activities they do.
John's story always gives me anxiety. I'll never go cave exploring.
You’d be surprised how many people were not happy with the decision to seal off the entrance to Nutty Putty Cave
@@craigmeyer6957 The whole thing was ruined all because of some naive, careless individual.
It's worth noting with the "M" cave story, that he was known to have suffered with depression among other things. His sister even says herself that she believes that he took this opportunity to 'dissappear' and take his own life, with the phone being left behind to reduce the chances of him being found.
Why make a video saying he felt his whole body vibrate upon entering? Why make such an elaborated lie? I mean unless he was a pathological liar then I might understand, otherwise seems off.
Call me a conspiracy theorist all you want but considering the government was involved on this one, a forced confession and forged condition are easy to make when you’re in charge.
Actually during my research it was narrowed down to Kenny living with his brother in the Colorado mountains in a and a cabin house and there is also footage of him breaking into a relative store stealing a laptop Kenny is still alive
@@flaysol7719 Source?
@@flaysol7719 where did you learn all that?
R.I.P. John. I hope his family is doing well, and so is his daughter. See, this is why we don’t take risks with exploring fatal places on earth like caves. Something bad could always happen. And I don’t blame the internet for thinking that Kevin was murdered by the government, I mean they are pretty evil and don’t give a crap about civilians
I'm already afraid of caves. With or without these stories. These are so heartbreaking. Especially John's body is still down there. Prayers for the families. RIP Angel 🕊🌾❤
Thank you for another upload, told perfectly again. 👍🏻👏🏼💕💕

Just thinking about being stuck in a confined space sends me into panic mode. Being trapped like that might be my worst fear. I’m not generally claustrophobic, but I do go into a panic attack at the thought of not being able to move or get myself out of a very tight space. You’ll never find me exploring a cave, that’s for sure…
@iireepercreeperii5356 Yea but when there is spaces that are 8 by 8 inches wide, and you try to get through I don't care how skinny you are, you are done. remember every thing is relative.
I like how you don't overdo it like a lot of the others, you simply just retell the story, and it is enough to make people spooked.....Nice content, I found this entertaining, I believe this is my first time watching your channel. Good stuff!
The possibility for the last story that he was killed off by a government agency is very new and interesting to me mainly because, throughout his disappearance, a lot of people including his girlfriend already assumed that he decided to commit s*. Can't remember the exact details but I do remember someone mentioning how he was severely depressed and because he knew a lot of rural places that no one would find, it would be easy for him to hide his own body-to disappear essentially. Although, I believe other people started to suspect his girlfriend, saying that she probably either already knew what he was about to do or probably knew where his body was but just didn't bother to look for it. Again I don't remember exactly so please take everything I say with a grain of salt.
@IIReeperCreeperII This is true. Although, a part of me always wondered if there was anything his girlfriend could have done to at least prevent it but of course, at the end of the day it was his own choice and I have no right to say what other people do with their own life.
Once I can no longer stand in a cave, I'm done exploring, I've heard this on MrBallen's channel, has to be one of the worst ways to go
This is one of the few videos of Mr. nightmare’s I haven’t seen, if not the only one. Thank you for reminding way more than necessary that I hate caves thanks to that Nutty Putty cave story. That’s got to be amongst the most horrifying deaths in all of human history. I’m seriously drinking right now trying to get over how much I’m shuddering
John Jones and Kenny's stories both just made me depressed. I pray John's soul is in a better place now and that if Kenny is still alive, that he is not suffering in any way. God bless their families
Those saying John would be a skeleton now, you'd be surprised that sometimes the minerals and dry condition of these deep caves and mines can have a preservation effect on remains.
Yes, I do believe his body is largely intact and well preserved.
I think Ice works better
Hank Schrader has entered the chat
@@Us3r739 Due to the cold temperatures halting the process yes. Though moisture is the number one cause of degradation and breakdown of organic material. In very dry climates and conditions along with certain materials used in burial can have a mummification effect. Another surprising one is peat bogs in northern Europe, where ancient human remains thousands of years old are discovered and are so well preserved that the farmers mistake them for recent murder victims.
imagine he's still down there preserved and his eyes are just open
The one about John was so sad and heartbreaking. I can’t imagine what his family must have had to go through or what he had to go through
It was very sad. I was 9 when it happened and the story scared me when I heard about it. I don’t really have claustrophobia, but that definitely gave me a bit of anxiety towards tight spaces.
I also think about John's brother Josh how horrifying it was to see his brother like that and know his brother died upside down
Here’s a fact for the nutty putty situation: At some point the pulleys actually pulled John up where he could actually make eye contact with his rescuer but the next pulley he slid back down to where he was before. Its really scary that his remains are still down there after over a decade of him passing. R.I.P
bro thats actually heartbreaking bro
True now it must be only bones.. so that cave is closed still? Or is it possible to enter?
If he crawled in and the only thing showing was his shoes then if he was pulled out far enough to make eye contact then he’d be free. He crawled in and if he was able to make eye contact in he could crawl out.
@realdeal8607his angle wasn’t allowing his legs to bend without breaking them. he was a tall man
9:31 this is the notorious “M cave” disappearance.
One correction. The "M Cave" wouldn't be anywhere near Area 51 or Nellis. The area Kenny was in is known as "The Sheep Mountains" which are on the north end of the Las Vegas valley. He most likely would have been somewhere near Gass Peak.
Area 51 would be roughly 80 miles to the north, and Nellis is way out on the east end of Vegas near the speed way. This would place him kind of near the NTTR, but not Area 51. But even then, he would still have a long way to go before getting anywhere near the barrier.
And BTW, the Area 51 warning sign is a novelty. None of the signs around the instillation say "Area 51." That is not even the official name of the base, which is a remote detachment of Edwards AFB.
Area 51 is name given by pop culture in reference to a geological survey map.
@@ZetaReticuli_ Absolutely, that scene was suspect asf and either somebody wanted to profit from the story, or that was part of Kenny's act of disappearance
I've honestly been watching so many cave videos recently and you coming out with a cave video just makes my night even better
Caving is on my bucket list. Specifically cave diving. I would never go in without being properly trained and with a certified veteran caver. Underground is even more unforgiving than the outside world and requires you to respect your boundaries.
I've been inside that nutty putty cave over 20 years ago as a kid. I remember my brother going into tight spaces and I stayed in the main areas because I"m claustrophobic. Turns out that tiny space killed someone. crazy.
Yea like 5 years later. Now its sealed?
Wow I’m right down the street from Walled Lake Michigan & never knew of that story! Gave me the chills after hearing about that.
why is no one talking about how devastating and scary that last case is? that poor man wanting to prove something but instead risking his own life for the internet...
The title of this video is absolutely accurate. RIP to John and Kenny and (possibly) those unknown kids.
Shout out from spooky Walled Lake Michigan!! I’ve never heard of that shoe tree story, now I have a Halloween tale 😈
John Jones’ story always gave me the chills, no matter who or where i heard it from.
He will haunt that cave forever no doubt
The shoe one is probably something as innocuous as someone owned a shoe store and didn't want to pay to use the dump
But what about the bones ?
@@TBS.tudios You mean the bones within 20 feet of the other, clearly animal bones? Animals die in caves all the time, maybe a pile of shoes makes a soft and warm place to rest.

Imagine squeezing yourself through a canal as narrow as the opening of a washing machine and a frickin dead end awaits your fate.
That's exactly how John Edward Jones must've been through when he mistakenly took the wrong way through the Ed's Push, thinking it to be the birth canal.
