When I bought my WS I had no idea it could be used as a mega drum machine! Something I haven't seen touched on is all this craziness can be done on all 4 layers simultaneously so the capabilities of beat making on here are quite unique. Very cool!

I found it something difficult to follow the LED screen but with a little patience I got to close results. Some of your viewers complain as if they had paid for it, but actually this is a great tutorial, undoubtly one of the most useful around. You turned the Wavestate into a modular system! Congratulations and greetings from Argentina!

That was awesome. I could spend hours and hours and twisting knobs once the right info has been input. Thanks, very informative.

Well done and useful tutorial. Excited to try this when my Wavestate arrives next week. My only criticism would be the ring light reflection on the screen makes it hard to read and follow along what's happening on the screen. Thanks for the useful tips !

This is excellent thank you! I really like the modulation of samples through the LFO. I'll probably use that.

Such a shame the glare prevents following your steps correctly.

This is a lot to comprehend , are there any shorter tutorials that cover some of the very basic fundamentals ? The learning curve for mastering this synth could actually take some years for most of us but it would help by learning only a little at a time in smaller segments .

Yeah, this is a lot as an introduction to the wavestate! There's quite a few videos out there on the fundamentals, including from True Cuckoo and Loopop, as well as Korg. Those are good places to start (it's where I started). If you are interested in drum programming, I have a tutorial on that which moves quite slowly. Hope this helps!

Great stuff - thanks. Have you found a way to adjust the overall tempo of a drum loop when your using notation values rather than note durations(in seconds). I cant find a way to do that yet unless i sync the WS to external midi clock. I guess there must be a way to do it ?

very good stuff here. I definitely have a handle on some of the mod matrix and have created some basic beats w/64 steps, but havent yet ventured into the step sequence alterations youve shown how to do here. I think I know enough to give this a try now
