Dear SME, we read SIMPLE BUILD in the annoce,as in building the kit, no more. We like that idea. We see you painted the saddle. We can handle that. But due to the fact we are not in the habbit of spraying paint or painting in general, is this theh only piece you remodelpainted? Or are there more to do? Kind regards, Robert
It is simply built as it came in the box. The only part that was painted was the saddle because I wanted it more matte. I wanted to build it simply so that people who want to buy this kit can see what they are getting for the money they are offering for this kit because not everyone has airbrushes, paints, primers and so on available
Definitely n work of art i like the Yamaha one that u build in another video n knowing my luck if i brought one there's bound to be a missing part 😂😂😂😂
I am not sure what people expect. This is a KIT! You still need to “build” it! If you just want to screw parts together, that is fine. It will be fast and you will have a gross miniature of the real thing. Now, if you want a miniature replica, you need to build it like a model kit - fill seems, glue stuff, sand, prime, paint, add details that were not implemented, fix design mistakes, etc. I know, for the price, it should be better, much, much, better. But it isn’t! It is a great starting point for a SKILLED modeler to build upon. Otherwise it will look like just a huge diecast, with huge screw heads showing everywhere!
@ I completely agree. When Pocher was ressurected from the ashes, the quality took a nose dive. I got one of the first Ducati kits they offered after the rebirth and one look at it, I quickly realized it was going to be one step above a Protar kit. I ended up getting some extras for it which were all together 50% of the kit cost. I have no idea if I will ever build it, as there are so many more fun kits out there to build, but, it would be an insanely beautiful replica if time is spent on added details because, at this scale, you can see a lot of “empty” space due to shortcuts on kit design (likely to keep the price down).

Unfortunately, you can't find this model in stores or websites, maybe only in some places. Where I bought it is no longer in stock, but you can try it on Ebay, but the price will be much higher there. For more details write to me by email
Beautiful, but you would have thought for such a high quality & expensive model, to be correct, they would have supplied silver rather than black screws for the engine covers, the black ones stick out like a sore thumb!!
Well …. when I buy it it was 750 Euro, now is 950….. When the kilt is fully assembled it looks very good and very nice detailed, but the assembly process it was horrible because many parts didn’t fit very well….. For final product I agree with 750 Euro but for process of building i think 400 Euro it will be enough….
Hmmmm as a military modeler looking at this the actual construction of any model is usualy the easy bit, the real skill comes when the paints and washs come out. This model looks ok but its looking like a toy rather than the real thing, its totally lacking any paint washs to get in the shadows and really make it pop, in the hands of a skilled military modeler for a day or two this model would be totally transformed.
Hi, and thanks for the comment. First of all, I would like to make some clarifications. Any kit can be built in several ways: 1 Simple 2 As close as possible to the original with all the color codes that the manual recommends and 3 Custom, as you want or as you would like it to look. Either is correct.I chose the first option and not for reasons of laziness as you want to insinuate in the comment, but for the simple fact that when you pay 1000$ for a kit and you are passionate about motorcycling, maybe you don't want to do anything extra. Not everyone who want this kit in the window for this price, they also want to buy paints, airbrushes, primer, etc. and maybe they don't have the necessary skills to improve it. At the price of 1000$, not being a modeler, I think you want to assemble it yourself without anything extra and enjoy it. That's why I chose the simple construction option.
Fair comment. My comments were not intended as criticism and i think i'm applying my scale modelling experience be that aircraft, vehicles, trains etc where you are focusing on the finish rather than the construction, paying particular attention to light and shadow, one example on your model would be the gold cover with the Ducati name on it, a simple oil paint wash would have the name really standing out rather than disapearing into the background. However i do understand your rationale in not wanting to touch it.
Hi, I order this model from here last year shop.autographmodel.com/Pocher-1-4-model-kit-HK117-Ducati-1299-R-Panigale-Final-Edition It was 750 Euro ,now i see it 950....
That's how it is. When I bought it, it cost 750. It's a limited edition and the smart guys speculated on it, bought it and now they're even selling it at three times the price
My man, you know better... But one day. Maybe you'll be tired, hungover or just a little sad. You'll press the "add to cart" button.... You'll forget about it for a few weeks and then you'll get a surprise bonus from work or something random income and you'll confirm that shit. And then you'll be the next bellend posting a video of his 3/4 scale 1400 toy.
Molto bella, ma sono tutte viti a croce e sono davvero brutte da vedere. Con quello che costa avrebbero potuto fare viti con la testa a bullone, oltretutto la scala 1:4 lo permette
This 'kit' as it is supplied has terrible faults. Bare coloured plastic, phillips screws where they should be cap/hex/allen etc. Screws where there should not be any at all. A HUGE lack of detail. Joins where there should not be. The wheels are a nightmare as they come split when the real things are one-piece. So much requires sanding, filling and re-painting. I have the Paul Koo detail kit that helps but it should have the full transkit. Unfortunately that costs almost 3 times the kit price.
Kind of a total tragedy, considering the fact, that they actually do make hex bolts of the same size/scale as those ridiculous button head phillips screws. Totally destroys the scale realism.
No crappy music. Perfect.
