Basically right behind the second row of rivets aft of the leading edge running longitudinally. If you buy a kit they should give you the placement. Shoot me a PM on FB at facebook/pilottopilotnetwork and I will get you a pix.
Maybe a call to Murphy will answer the question. As I putter around the hangar I will keep an eye out on guidance for vg installation. I know I have aeen it in my paperwork. Not sure which paperwork if I find it I'll conact you. 6" over the leading edge aft does not see to out of line with where mine are. Like I said, just beyound the second set of longitudinal rivets running down the wing east to west.
@@TangoSierra2022 hi again in regards to calling Murphy corp. I tried didn't have much luck . Maybe now they sold out it will get better. Unfortunately I here it was a Chinese company again

Hi captain T. My Murphy elite vgs were installed two inches past yours . Basically 6in from leading edge I always wounder if they were back to far
