    The Radar in Poland matches the one in Romania. Those two systems are basically land based based versions of the radar on the Arleigh-Burke radars which can control out-going missiles as well as detecting incoming missiles. With two such a radar installation in Poland and Romania, the nuclear bases are thoroughy covered. By the way, the Russians are pissed off, so you know it is effective.

      If Russia does not like missile systems on its borders, then Putin needs to grow up, and stop acting like a school bully.
      The Russian Black Sea fleet has been sunk by a country that does not have a navy, a third of the Russian airforce has crashed and burned, two thirds or more of Russia’s tanks and infantry fighting vehicles have been turned into charred scrap iron and 710,000 of Russia’s soldiers, prisoners and citizens are dead or maimed.
      Oh, and the Russian economy is about to implode, without Baltic Sea exports of oil and gas being stopped.
      By the way, NATO may have supported Ukraine with a handful of weapons, however, NATO has not even put any of its military or air forces into Ukraine . . . .
      Pretty soon, Putin will be looking for a window in his bunker and, if he does not find it, someone else will ensure that he goes through it and does not come back.

      Canada indeed looks to the sanity of Ret. General Hodges and his Euro, real experience in cartoon-land just to the south. The incontinent sitting himself in public, draft dodger, Trump has no ability to think in any military capability. Vance has no concept of possible loss of Ukraine. They are signalling the american weakness to China and the rest of to-day, coagulating dictator/facists that Trump is joining.
      He has set up HIS judicial system. Neutered the usa constitution making him impervious to his crimes past, happening and the doozies coming. And will establish HIS military, which is underway as we speak, following Stalin with a purge of the generals.
      NATO including the usa will have to step into Ukraine when the weak German goes, in a few months. Macron/France is onboard in going into Ukraine.... and not as part of DT's delusional hand off to Russia.
      Ukraine has nukes, they are cheap and easy, they just completed their own ballistic missile to reach into Roos/Moscow and they don't have to ask anyone's lame ass permission to fire them. And of course they will, ASAP ,All is as it should be. A Ukrainian tactical Nuke would be capable of obliterating a Roos air-base or say Moscow.
      Better understand Ukraine is not sitting on her hands quaking or waiting, or going along with The poop-pants Trump delusional giveaway of their country to the other criminal Putin
      Trump is fast tracking WWIII.
      His voters will get the war coming that they richly deserve. May their sons and grandchildren fight what they deserve

      Only short-sighted individuals would not see the benefits of supporting a war against the expansionist dictatorship of Russia. They might save money and improve life in the US now by cutting aid, but this trend of "let each country figure it out themselves, we are not world police" will have very negative effect on balance of powers in the future. Their grandchildren in 2100 will see themselves surrounded by the dictatorial regimes of Russia, China and Iran. And if the 3 join forces after they have occupied Africa, Europe and Asia, the US is next and there will be no other western country to help them.

      No currently trending god has prevented babies from having cancer, or prevented the horrific ends of the Greater Wrath, Bucha, Mariupol, Katyn or Stalingrad. It is up to us European soldiers to keep the lazy and hungry bear pup in his smelly cage. Today 900.000 Finnish soldiers stand on that wall, and have repelled over 20 attempted invasions since Russia was formed a few short centuries ago. Here combat veterans are the first guests to arrive at the president’s annual independence day ball. None of them have been allowed to be homeless or to pay for travel and services. Only battle can turn a Finnish soldier into a veteran, the highest class in society. Everyone else is ”former soldier”. It is high time for older NATO members to truly care for their troops. It increases troop quality and efficiency. Better men will seek employment in the army then, when chess and von Clausewitz is preferred over beer.

      isolationism never worked for the usa. It is delusional. Japan annihilated the american navy, and Canada declared war on Nippon before the usa did! Hitler declared war on the isolationism usa first as well. It all came anyway, wishful thinking didn't make it go away.
      I pray for the Ukraine people/fighters every day when I talk to God. Amen

    Americans have spoken with this election, the Ukraine war can’t keep taking and draining our economy and resources when our own country is need of military resources and other resources

    • @Chetifs1095
      @Chetifs1095 19 часов назад

      But most of the billions 'given' to Ukraine stay in the US to upgrade its military. You ARE getting the latest upgraded stuff. Ukraine gets the old, second-hand, mothballed stuff, which would cost millions to de-commission anyway. And you're learning from Ukraine's latest developments how a new war will be fought (drones) etc. Looked at globally, the US is actually getting a fabulous deal. As for 'other resources'. America already has them, and so has Ukraine, if only the west would realise this.

    • @michaelcrawford6536

      It has to end, I find the Ukrainian leader to be a dictator and corrupt. I am also embarrassed when he comes to Congress and so many Politicians foolishly clap like seals and want to lip lock the guy as he leaves with billions of dollars. Overall, for all countries, it has to end and so many are worried about his requests of weapons to hit major cities in Russia, sparking WW3. We will see what will happen when President Trump returns to the Whitehouse. The end of the conflict with best results for both parties that are losing lives with peaceful life returns to Ukraine.

    This is why the Russians are in Ukraine right now. NATO keeps creeping further East towards Russia, and NATO loves to put in armament into these countries, right on Moscows doorstep. Russia and NATO have a treaty stating this would not happen, but has been not keeping their word. When talk of Ukrainian NATO membership a few years back, Russia tried all diplomatic channels with NATO but fell on deaf ears. Here we are today.

    • @paulmitchell2468
      @paulmitchell2468 День назад +2

      This "treaty" never existed. The closest to such was a verbal remark made before the collapse of the Soviet Union. Once the Soviet Union collapsed, that verbal remark became irrelevant considering it is the same former Soviet Union members seeking to join NATO. A new agreement was made given the geopolitical change - the NATO Russia Founding Act of 1997. I suggest you read it.

    • @billyhndrsn4542
      @billyhndrsn4542 19 часов назад

      @paulmitchell2468 thanks, I will read it, per your verbal remark requesting to do so. You know, we are old enough to know one president in the 80s courted the leaders of Russia to talks of disarm, peace through strength, we can get along and be civil and shake hands. Of course the presidents exchange to different leaders, different motives, different words, not consistent view of civility across the table, and here we are today.

    With respect to Gen. Hodges, foreign policy was indeed a part of President-elect Trump's campaign message and his highlighting of just how dangerous the world has become under the current administration was a strong point in his historic win. Likewise, the General's "hope" that the Republican-led Congress can or will attempt to counter the President's wishes belies his own understanding that foreign policy is bestowed exclusively upon the Executive branch by the US Constitution.

    • @Lost-In-Blank
      @Lost-In-Blank 2 дня назад

      Agreed. Hodges was pushing his personal and The Pentagon's dreams, not the reality of the USA today. It is only natural that he would do that. They need to pick a better guest next time, at least have more diverse American guests.

    I think most Central and Eastern Europeans, and most British and French people, want to see the war end with Ukraine having its territory protected by either actual NATO membership or by becoming a NATO protectorate, like the protectorates of the USA, UK, and France that exist around the world. Battalions of European NATO troops permanently stationed in Ukraine along its borders with Russia and Belarus could guarantee Ukraine's borders without requiring Ukraine to actually enter NATO.
    Failing that, Ukraine should do what Poland did when it was refused entry to NATO -- threaten that if it is denied entry, it will build its own nuclear deterrent. Much of the USSR's nuclear deterrent was actually designed and built in Ukraine, so it should be even easier for Ukraine than it would have been for Poland.
    We need an end to this war, we cannot have endless war in Europe, we cannot have the USA and Germany reducing European countries to desolate wastelands as they did in Africa during the days of empire. And we need an end to the war that guarantees Ukraine's borders and prevents Russia expanding any closer to NATO than its current borders.

    US forces in Europe should all move East. Focus on Greece for the Navy, Romania for the Air Force, and Poland for the Army. Don’t need any US forces in Germany, Italy, or Belgium. The rear most area for airlift warehousing and medical support could now be in Chechia.
