I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my first child and I feel like my ob is pressuring me to choose a birth control ASAP. I was on one 4-5 years ago and hated it. Not sure if I even want it again
I heard when you’re breastfeeding/right after birth, you are 40% more fertile. It’s common women get pregnant quickly after their first because they aren’t using birth control methods. It’s hard on moms body when that happens. Maybe ask what their reasoning for pushing birth control is?
My 6 week appointment with the "family friend" OB from my husband's side: ✓no PPD questionnaire (in fact he insisted my husband -whom I tried to leave in the waiting room - came back and so I did not feel comfortable bringing it up even though I was def having symptoms). ✓no exam or physical contact whatsoever. ✓I was told that birth control side affects are a myth so not to call about them. 😶 3 weeks postpartum with my second and hoping for a little more attention from my midwife this time.
My postpartum checkup was basically like, "What birth control do you want? Goodbye"

My midwife did no internal exam. Also, my midwife's practice doesn't use stirrups, which I love. I hate those stirrups.

This is true. I just had my 2nd child 3 weeks ago. I got pregnant when my 1st was 8months. I'm definitely getting on bc this time. No more kids for me
