@@m1geo thanks, I know the production quality wasn't great though. Hopefully prioritizing getting videos out there over spending ages video editing ks the right thing to do!
@@RJ-cc1fz good question. So I probably would, for two reasons. 1. As the pool is bigger and I'm going with a rendered finish, I can't have any risk of cracking, so having all that horizontal and vertical steel will greatly reduce that risk. 2. Even though I started this in March, I think it would have taken a lot longer to get to this stage with block work. Not to mention how heavy those hollow blocks are. They aren't pleasurable to work with! So yes, I think I'd have gone this route anyway. Although a liner works for most people, I just don't particularly like the round corners! Hope that helps
Nicely done!

So if you didn’t have to worry about heating the pool, would you use block like the previous or icf?

Are you still planning to use basecrete?
@@RJ-cc1fz absolutely... Basecrete extreme base coat, then Basecrete in white with some pigment to darken 👍
@@RichDoesDIY it’s my understanding that the block joints cracking isn’t as big of a problem because of basecrete being so flexible
