She can win an award for narration and southern accent in the world. You hear her W H's? Whwhaaar did thay gew? Give me a break she couldn't die soon enough in 1883
@@jdwhodey you have to be as brain dead as Joe Biden if you think she is any good. Anyone south of the Mason Dixon line knows that is hands down the worst southern accent in the history of westerns. Her narration is the very worst! Sam Elliot should have narrated.
Elsa's narration of 1883 is captivating. Isabel May completely nailed the character and the mood. Her outlook as Elsa is incredible. I can't comprehend how tough those pioneers had to be, but 1883 makes it a bit more understandable. Great job!
She was a casualty of the land. The Land who possibly is the lead character, is a wretched hateful b+*(h. She takes your dreams, and leaves only worn weathered headstones, the inscribed names lost to history.
The scenery, plot, character development & writing is top level. Her voiceovers are like poetry. I hope to see her storyline continue throughout several seasons.
Well I think you need to find something else to look forward to every week. Unless of course she can narrate from the great beyond. I know hoe ya feel tho. Some of those poetic opening/closing comments were so damn DEEP Id have to rewind & listen to it again! The very end where she sees her husband and he asks "wanna race?" and she smiles so big and joins him and they ride thru the valley side by side I was so blown away....not a dry eye in my house! Thats how Ive always thought of heaven too and Im 58 so Ive had plenty of time to think about it:) Every 'heaven'is different depending on the persons hopes & dreams.
Her narrations are epic. I grew up in Colorado riding int he mountain with my parents. It takes me back to that place in my life. Behind the company where I worked there was a small stagecoach way station. Bricks were made it appeared out of the local sandstone. Newspapers were used for insulation. Found a yoke there once too. Yellowstone and 1883 are wonderful.
Nooooo she absolutely cannot die! We absolutely love her and for us she is the whole show! ♥️♥️♥️ I did see an arrow in her abdomen but hoping she lives through that.
Taylor Sheridan is becoming the “great American storyteller” of our time. Having extremely talented actors and art directors definitely is the icing on this cake!
Elsa makes this show...through tears I'm screaming for Sam to come and save his wife....I really can't stand the fact she may be leaving the show to early not sure I can continue to watch.
This girl is so beautiful. Those nature scenes with her are exquisite. The camera loves her. Everything about the formation and translation and illumination of her spirit jumps from the screen. Amazing casting,
Lamont Garrett does an amazing job as Thomas in this series. Remember the time period and you can feel it in his role. He brings real emotion to his acting in the part. Great show and excited for future episodes.
Great interview with Isabel May 1883. For such a young lady, like she said “I am a 70 yr old, in a 21 yr old body”. She is impressive lady & actress. I could see her doing more like this series or non series westerns of old west. I like movies or series of this era. I am a Re-enactor of this period, love to read historical books of era. Miss May, good luck in everything you do.
1883 is amazing and its definitely Elsas story! I love Lightening with Yellow Hair and would've loved loved LOVED to see her and Sams story continued but.. Either way Miss May is phenomenal, badass if you will. I can't wait to see her in future projects.

Having watched all 4 seasons of Yellowstone ( all coming late to the show ) 1883 is a must see. The writing, acting and soundtrack are superb! Isabel is amazing. Reminds me so much of Dances with Wolves. Thank you Taylor Sheridan and those involved in the making of the show. Just glad to see that there are still talented people who can tell an interesting story without wanting to shove a message down the throat of the audience!
Great show - one of the best that I’ve seen & Elsa plays one of the most important parts. By the way if you give anymore interviews, please take better effort to put your guest in a respectable sound ambiance room. This One sounded like it was your 1st ever RUclips...

@@foss This show just keeps getting better and better!! What did you think of Episode 7?? If you haven't seen it, you're in for a treat. I am enamored with this show. The writing takes you there in that moment. Elsa does experience so much along the journey. The Indian name she was given is perfect for her. Little John is so stinking cute. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw were a perfect choice for the parents.

But if this is hell, and I’m in it, then I must be a demon too. And I’m already dead." - Elsa Dutton, 1883 Kickassery
Sure it's a stand alone but context is everything. If you know the story behind Yellowstone and then watch this it just delivers more than if you only watch 1883. Either way this show is amazing.
I disagree. It's definitely a stand-alone show. I watched the whole Yellowstone series only after first watching up to episode 7 of 1883, and didn't gain any context from Yellowstone of any significance. In fact, I would suggest people who haven't watched Yellowstone wait until they first watch 1883. 1883 is a much better show too.
I'm wondering if they end up in Montana because of what happens to Elsa? If she dies in Montana, I would understand why they wouldn't leave. I just don't like to think about her dying, though.
Isabel ... made this show!!! I was so sad when she passed!!! Actually, made me angry... they could have had her swept away with Sam, instead of killing her off!!!
