Aww nice! I didn’t have the Swan Lake Barbie, but I had a few of the other princess ones, like the Island Princess and Princess and the Pauper. 💗🤍 (I actually still have them 😂)
It's pretty cute, but I do have a few tips if you try to remake this: try to use several layers of the "feathers". One layer with the ones that go all the way down to the end of the skirt, one that goes till about halfway down and one to a quarter way down. Doing the different length ones all in one layer makes the skirt look much more bare than it should be. And try using some extra petticoats or such around the top half of the skirt, as well as making the skirt a bit wider. It helps to give the skirt a bit more poofyness. The fabric is really pretty and sparkly though! Great choice for the dress!
Thank you for the tips. I do wish I had made the skirt a full circle skirt instead of half circle, to make it more full. The top part of the mini mannequin, I made, was a bit bulky, so I tried to use as few layers as possible. I would like to make more miniature dresses at some point though, and hopefully use a fabric dress stand instead of a paper one (then I could drape the fabric better). 😊
@@ameliaroseillustrations Well, at least you can use this as a learning experience. And I hope you can get that fabric dress stand soon! Another thing you can do is sow multiple layers onto each other before you put them on the dress stand and work with elastic or stretchy fabrics. That way the bulky top of the dress stand will be less of a concern. Good luck and have fun with any future projects!

Does anyone know what the name of the song is? I recognize it but am having trouble finding it.
It’s the theme from Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky
