I've always felt the OG digidestined lost their distinctive features growing up. Maybe it's meant to be symbolic that we blend into society as adults? Not too sure. Part of me wishes they could have kept more of their physical traits from childhood.
I think the youngest version of the other digidestined can be seen through the Window in the short old movie where Greymon fight Parrotmon ( where Tai and Hikari are even younger than adventure 01) Some of them are watching through their house's window.
They can't be seen in the prologue movie (as the characters were not created back when 01 first came out) but in the 2nd Diablomon movie we get flashback with all the Zero Two kids watching that Greymon VS Parrotmon fight from their homes' balconies etc. and that exposure to Digimon at young age connected them to each other
OK WAIT, does no one remember the final episode of season 2 (Davis Veemon season) where we saw everyone old enough with kids, like Tai became a street vendor is that just me?!

Thanks, I was not exactly sure where was that scene (movie exactly) because i watched many years ago... but i remember It was during that fight.

Why aren't those ages added in their "shinka line"?
I didn’t know Kari was a year older than TK.
In japanese version they're both 8. I have no idea why that was changed in USA release...
