I literally couldn’t fathom making high noon look good… but you and that camera made it happen.

Getting mine today and could not be more excited / nervous. It’s been a director’s dream to own an ARRI but also a big responsibility to make even on the investment (production bundle).

@@DustinHarrelson Thanks for following up! It’s an incredible camera and it’s insane to think that we have it in-house to use practically whenever and for whatever we want. - Financially it’s not the easiest in our market however. Small industry that doesn’t always demand the ranks of ARRI or have the budget to justify it, especially with so many cameras being easier and lighter to work with on micro productions.

@@TheGroundWeWalkOn We've been using Zeiss CP.2's a lot on it, we have a full set of those and they've been versatile and light. We did make sure to purchase different mounts for the Alexa, so depending on what lenses are needed, AC's can easily switch to a compatible mount system.

@@TheGroundWeWalkOn We've been using Zeiss CP.2's on it a lot. We have a full set of those and they've been super lightweight and versatile. (Albeit not the most "charismatic" lenses.) We did make sure to purchase different mounts for the Alexa so that depending on the lenses used, AC's are able to quickly switch out to the mount they need.

Right?! I should’ve included more shots to show it off but even just looking at the details in the shadows during the sample footage is wild. Thanks for watching Sean!

Ayyy glad you checked out the video! I was on the Cooke miniS4/i 32mm t2.8 the whole time. And I appreciate that fr, I’ve been trying to not shy away from a more vibrant, saturated look lately so I’m glad you pointed that out!

Why can't Canon or Arri come up with a camcorder with this image quality? It could be done. But they wont do it.

Feeling the feeling, the high fidelity audio area has it, if the system is too good, you hear imperfection in audio engineering so too good of a system ruins the music, now this camera is so good it show imperfection from the optical lenses and post production editing work
