Quick reminder to everyone that, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” - Psalm 34:18 Even at your lowest God is still there for you. You’re loved and Jesus is coming back soon 🙌🏾.
****For the breakage ***Try giving yourself a few singles in the front. That way you can take them out, wash, plait back up, and lay in between your cornrows. The key is to do a slight braid going back before you finish the plait so your wig still lays as flat as possible. It's a little more work but better than doing a whole head over again. Hopefully that helps! Love your page btw
ISI flat ironing hair that isn’t clean or has previous product not meant for heat, only damages it. Heat isn’t always the enemy but the lack of knowledge on how heat is used is ❤️
She knows this and she still does it. Lol! She has some strong hair and scalp. My scalp and hair is naturally ultra fragile, ultra-fine and ultra-sensitive. I could never. I'd be bald with scabs if I did what she does.
Deeper than hair from RUclips uses this quote often. I love it. It seems she knows what works for her hair and is doing it. Which is amazing. I’m glad it works for her. Her hair is amazing
I really appreciate you showing your shedded hair and the hair you may have lost from damage I always have the fear that I'm losing too much hair but seeing someone else with thick hair just like me makes me feel better about the whole process. Also #BeautyFactory
I can’t put my hair in a ponytail while it’s still wet. I realize it stays wet all week and once I take it down it smells from being wet and not drying
🤣@Moonchild reading your comment brought back so many memories of my college/big chop days lol.....My outside strands would be dry and then in the middle it would be wet and soggy. The magic trick of the "haha not dry all the way" hair lol
@@nottodaylilbaldhead I learned my lesson when I went fully natural. I would put my hair in a puff after washing it and using all of my products just for it to still be wet, smelly, and itchy from being wet all week.
I learned from KinkyStyles1980 not to add the edges into the braids. So, now in my protective styles with wigs or added hair, I flat twists my edges and my kitchen so I can truly take care of them (moisturize, wash, etc) Maybe that can help. Start your cornrows a little further back and braid your edges separately going vertical.
Tip that works for me with long term protective styles is massaging olive oil on my edges to really loosen build up and then washing it. I do it 2-3x over the course of 1-2 months. Really makes a difference.

The Creme of Nature Styling Snot leaves so much crust/flakes for me even when I use all creme of nature products. Ive had it for years, it's just sitting in my product bin.
Yesss definitely wanna see a #beautyfactory vlog. Also when you do have your braids in why don’t you try washing your edges more often. Whenever i have braids i learned i had to wash my edges at least every other day because that edge control build-up is something else!
The hairstyle came out cute ; I could never sleek my hair into a ponytail fresh out the shower with my scalp and hair still wet because my scalp is really sensitive and susceptible to fungus
I use apple cider vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle and it dissolves those clumps you get from box braids and have saved my edges many time. Give it a try 🥰
It’s actually healthy for you to leave your hair alone for that long I did. I accidentally left my hair in a bun and isn’t touch it for 3 months ( not combing or anything) I washed with rice water in the beginning & my hair is longer than it has ever been !!!
Hey sis this came out sooooo freaking good i love it!! One tip or trick i found for getting slick high pony’s is to do it in sections so you can get that really slick look, kinda like how you do a low pony!! That’s just a little tip but i definitely need to try out this hairstyle cause it is so dope !!
Maybe try for each cornrow do two smaller single braids in the front and then start the cornrow so you can take them out and detangle when you wanna wash yours edges. It looks great tho 😍😍
