    Thank you so much for providing the list of tools and links in your description! This is greatly appreciated. I know this takes a lot of work but it is a very useful list for people like me who are starting out and I've seen other videos, but no one is as thorough and complete as you. Again thank you!

      Glad it helps. Thank you for watching!
      Stick with it and learn skills. The more you learn the more you will love doing this kind of work. It can seem overwhelming at first. The best advice I give anyone is be a person who learns “why” things are done a certain way and not just what is done…and you will go far.
      The “why” is what helps you understand what to do in situations you haven’t ran into yet.
      Thanks again for watching and commenting!

    Liking the set up, do you work for apartment complex?
    Also, i moved on from the channel lock pliers to the knipex cobra. And from the 11 in 1 to the 8 in 1 HVAC screw driver

      I went out on my own about two years ago and do Commercial Remodeling and Commercial/Residential Service work now.

      Thanks for watching!
      Making myself a “Go Bag” is one of the best choices I’ve made. In my younger days I used to carry a big bag with me everywhere I went thinking I needed every tool “just in case”. Now I care more about how much something weighs…I’m going to say because I’m smarter, not weaker 😂😂
      I came really close to going with ToughBuilt, I liked the idea of switching between things and mounting them on the wall. The reviews on those clips were back and forth though. Has yours held up well?

    • @onemanwreckingcrew
      @onemanwreckingcrew 2 года назад +1

      @@MORGANSMaintenance That is what I did for the longest time as well. I got sick of lugging every tool into every job. I have the small ToughBuilt Electrician pouch as my EDC pouch that I carry on my belt (like your smallest Veto Bag) for take offs, site visits, troubleshooting, and small service stuff. I have the larger Master's Electrician pouch for when i don't know what I am walking into or larger install/service work like your Veto MCT.
      I haven't had a problem with the clips at all and even if I did I can buy like 5 of them for $5-$10 at Lowes. I've mounted the clips on my ladder, foldable work bench, studs, and my Milwaukee Packouts. The modularity and flexibility is pretty darn sweet. I also can't complain about the price tag especially compared to the Veto Bags. Veto is worth the money though.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Год назад

      Thanks 👍. That’s what I have been doing with a MCT and a smaller bag. It’s nice not carrying a heavy bag when you don’t need to. I have swapped around multiple times on my smaller bag just to keep things exciting from a TP4B, TPLC, and TP3B.
      I’m currently using a MCT (with a lot of the tools in this video plus more) and a TP3B with the bare essentials to save space.. mostly because I’m working out of my Truck more than I was before.
      This bag has been my favorite size though. The TP-LC is nice if you want a “covered” bag.

      Thanks! I have swapped over to the TPLC to try for awhile (got for free during spring promotion) and am using this bag as my home bag… but I am missing it and leaning towards swapping back.
      The size and weight of this bag is pretty much perfect for a go bag (for me). The LC holds few more things but is a bit bigger and heavier and the things I added aren’t essential.

      It is AWP. I think I bought in a 3 pack at Lowes that were different sizes (this is the middle size of the 3) and were super cheap…like $10 or something. I’m not sure if they still sell them, I’ve had them a little while. I searched Lowes.com to get you a link and I don’t see them. I will put a link to a similar AWP set on Amazon in the description for you but I know I didn’t pay what they are on there.

      @MORGANSMaintenance  2 года назад

      It’s a mix. I work primarily on a campus with Office Space, Single Family Homes, and Multi Apartment Buildings. Then I also do some commercial work for stores.
      I consider myself Maintenance, but I also do some remodeling though. Seems like mostly remodeling these days but I would like to phase that out. I prefer service work.

      @@MORGANSMaintenance no, I would like to get into it, was wondering how you did it?

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  2 года назад

      @@drewdrew89141 it depends on where you live. You can do it without any school or training where I live but you won’t make as much with a company till you get experience.
      If you want to work for yourself, you set your price and charge what you want starting out but have to get customers. With this you typically need a business liscense, insurance, etc. Again, depends on your area.
      There are probably Property Management Companies where you live. They will typically hire people both ways, as an employee or a sub-contractor (aka handyman)
      Some of those companies are good…some not so much… but you could try it out with one and make sure it’s something you want to do. Then work towards what you want. Gain experience and make yourself worth more hourly, or set goals to start your own business.
      Hope that helps
